    Apparently you're using settings that are incorrect due to the new OpenVPN version/build that is incorporated into Merlin's firmware ... And the external documention is out of date. So get to the newest release notes for the changes. Merlin is not to blame here...

    You appear to have concluded that 1. there is an broad issue with disconnections/reboots/hiccups and 2. Those are linked to or a consequence of this implementation. I haven't experienced any of these issues while running the latest fw (alpha, beta and rs). And I don't find direct evidence...

    84 is not too high. Chipset is designed to run 125 max. Quite a margin remaining.

    Even Ferrari's and Rolls Royces break down or need maintenance to perform at top level....That's just inherent to mechanical machines. Same for electronics. Just the way it is, price level does not differentiate that much in the world of wireless signals.

    It also relies on the internal DNS configuration. Was DNS and WINS Server Setting DNS Server 1 = Internal DNS server IP DNS Server 2 = Empty set correctly in http://192.168.1.1/Advanced_DHCP_Content.asp ?

    Some IP cams are P2P which means videostreams can only be viewed through the manufacturers P2P (cloud) service.

    New observation: System uptime remains at 0 days 0 hours 1 minute. It will only move towards 5 minutes and reset to 1 minute again. After 12 hours uptime after a reboot. Anyone have the same issue?

    Europeans agree, it's mutual :) And remembering that the majority of Swiss trade is with the EU, the association with the EU is quite a necessity. So you might feel independent....practically your not.

    On .66 here, but never had any issue with any previous firmware...and I have used them all... Aren't you mixing up the invisible channels enigma when 5Ghz is reset to automatic after flashing a new firmware? This is just not an enigma any more...just set it manual to a channel below 100; some...

    Just get back on topic: Running alpha .66 for two days now and all running smooth (basic operation). Will start using more of the features later this week, but stability, wifi signal all look fine so far.

    Just get yourself some cheap ones from China (5/6 USD). Since running 24/7 limits the lifespan, you might want to stock a couple.
