    Strange WAN connection issue

I've had this issue in the past, I found if you do the following it should resolve your issue. Disconnect the Hub from the WAN port. Switch the Hub off for 30 minutes. Login into the Asus, under WAN have the following options enabled; Press apply...

    AdGuardHome Asuswrt-Merlin-AdGuardHome-Installer (AMAGHI) cont.

Whatever you've change on Adguard no longer works. I've uninstalled it completely re-installed each version and just hangs on Starting Adguard.... dead and nothing else. I've also done installed it on a fresh clean wipe of my router still won't start, this is on RT-AX86U and the Pro. Anyone else...

    is AsusWRT-MERLIN 388.2_2 (dd 7 May 2023) affected by the security issues fixed in 3.0.0.4.386.51665 (dd 18 May 2023)? - RT-AX56U

All the OP wanted was some information from the horses mouth then that would've been it. Looking at some of the replies they seem a bit pedantic and over the top than they need to be. I'm sure if the OP wanted toxicity he could've just gone onto Facebook for that. Not everyone is with it...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.12 Beta is now available for AC models

In this beta can anyone confirm if you do a fresh wipe you don't lose access to the GUI? I know in the Alpha it was broken.

    AdGuardHome AdGuardHome New Release's 2023

I have noticed as of late, when you upgrade your associated firmware for your router, have a power cut or generally switch off and on the router Adguard will fail to load correctly. The only workaround I have done to solve it for myself is when it fails to boot in one of those circumstances is...

Never usually have issues with Alpha's or Beta's but this has been terrible, and the two betas on AX models. Eurgh

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

Had to take beta 2 both off my AX86U's terrible lag in games, frequently disconnections from ISP and and sluggish browsing. Falshed back to retail release of Merln and is now back to normality.

    [ 386.12 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Do not install this version. If you install and then do a clear reset you cannot access the GUI at start up at IP level or local domain level, http server crashes out. I tried this on a AC86U had to use the FW tool to restore back to dot 11.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

NAT Type has been removed in this version, and foreseeable future since it's not "supported" on the kernel (I mean if you're coder surely it's possible to fix), I'd avoid upgrading if you're a gamer, so therefore I'll be downgrading back to the previous FW until the foreseeable future.

amtm amtm 4.9 - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu, June 30, 2024 (locked thread)

Well, if you look in the git repository for that release I assume it does need to be installed. I installed Ubound before it was wiped off GIt. They're are other mirrors for it in the thread mentioned. Just stating the obvious if people now want to install it they can't. I don't know the ins and...

@thelonelycoder https://www.snbforums.com/threads/cannot-install-unbound-s02haveged-404-error.85978/#post-854608 > I guess AMTM needs an update again..

Unbound Cannot Install Unbound / S02haveged 404 error

If this is the case AMTM needs updating or a formal statement as to why this has been pulled. No good having a defunct installer URL in the main AMTM script.

    Is my RT-AX86U dying?

NVME's aren't that expensive these days anyway. As stated, I found that this is a better solution for myself and doesn't create a bottleneck. When I've created a 2 GiB swap file it creates it pretty quick. file transfers are quick too. Both of my routers have been fine since using this method. :)

    Is my RT-AX86U dying?

If you're going to run an external device I suggest buying a NVME drive and a NVME USB 3.0 caddy and plugging it the USB 3.0 port. Ive noticed in the past when using USB keys it would bog down my router when it was on it's way out since switching I've never had an issue.

    AdGuardHome AdGuardHome New Release's 2023

Well, I edit AG Yaml file as shown, I save it, restart AG and then there is no internet. So, I've got to to redo both? Could you elaborate or post me a guide? Obviously the port I choose in the AG Yaml doesn't stick or even take effect, even rebooting the router.

    AdGuardHome AdGuardHome New Release's 2023

@SomeWhereOverTheRainBow - Further testing, the one router that was working I flattened and started from scratch. I installed entware first with the updated libopenssl packages etc.. Then installed AG from AMTM and starts as intended. However, I did install the other version here...

    AdGuardHome AdGuardHome New Release's 2023

@SomeWhereOverTheRainBow strange it worked by downgrading libopenssl1.1.1s-1_aarch64-3.10 from the latest version, a lot of people are having issues with it with different scripts/add ons, so could it be a coincidence? We'll never know I just know it worked it for me. I'm sure if it happens...

    AdGuardHome AdGuardHome New Release's 2023

This issue was due to libopenssl1.1.1s-1_aarch64-3.10 being updated to the newest version. I downgrade to 1.1.1 rebooted, reinstalled AG through AMTM and worked. So @SomeWhereOverTheRainBow you need to update AG to use the new version. That's what I did and worked. So it's related.
