    Yes. I was not comfortable about running the amp at high level so I switched it back to the low - 17dB setting. I think I'm gonna get a HDHomerun box. I tried the antenna downstairs and the reception was pretty bad because of the lower elevation and the surroundings. Thanks

    Ok the coax is indeed an isolated one. I can get OTA channels on the TV downstairs. I did at least one 720p HD channel after scanning channels twice. Maybe I have to do the scanning a few times to see if I can see more HD channels down there. ( I get the HD channels upstairs perfectly ) Do...

    No. I've connected the MoCA adapters on a separate coax wall point which I guess is isolated from the coax cable network I've for the internet service. So I guess I can use MoCA splitters at both end to route the OTA signal on this isolated coax?

    I've 2x Actiontec ECB6200 adapters in the house. I don't have a cable signal but only internet. The HDTV antenna is upstairs with an amplifier ( came with it ) and is directly hooked to the TV tuner.

    The similar problem exists on RT-AC87U since last update (3.0.0.4.382_50702). The slabinfo shows high and increasing slab - kmalloc-64 126227 133504 64 64 1 : tunables 0 0 0 : slabdata 2086 2086 0 Suspect a memory leak issue.

    RT-AC87U - Media Bridge - RP-AC68U

    Perhaps the reason is that "repeater" functionality is incompatible with the 5GHz QTN chipset RT-AC87U has and RP-AC68U ( Realtek ) . That's what only 2.4Ghz is being used in this combo.

    Looks like the CPU usage spike is being cause by this activity nvram: consolidating space! Can someone from Asus take a look at this? Thanks

    RT-AC87U - Does Feedback work?

    Well, that doesn't help since there won't be any logs that you could send along unless you copy them manually off the router cli. I think they need to change the port in the f/w to get the "feedback" function working.
