Release Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 is now available

Actually the latest are 21.110.1... but for some reason Intel took down the customer version and only left the IT one ;) https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29787/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-Software-and-Drivers-for-IT-Admins?product=189347

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 is now available

Go to WAN -> NAT Passthrough... For VoWiFi to work for me I had to enable IPSec passthrough as below... try enabling other ones and find which does your carrier use:

    Last ditch effort with AX58 & AX88

AX88U with AX200 working 115MBps+ (1000Mbps+) ;) note that I'm in the EU and using a lowerband (40th) channel... it requires DFS scanning but never had a situation when it was triggered. Then again.. reading from these forums the 100+ seem to be quirky...

    Asus RT-AX88U 160GHZ issue

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.18 and 384.13_10 is now available

Ok, I did misunderstand you from that single sentence. I agree with your point... Though allow me to argue further ;) In 2017 the AC87U for me has been already considered a no-go for a new buyer.... At that time I would have looked at AC86U, AC88U or the multi-radioed ones but for sure...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.18 and 384.13_10 is now available

@grifo, sorry but your argument is as invalid as it gets... It has not been 3 years... but around 7 years.... which is decades in terms of networking equipment. You can check my profile here on SNB where I ask for some questions concerning my AC87U back in 2014. I own this router and it was a...

    Release [ 384.19_Alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

It might be quad9 DoT with diversion with skynet and a dirty upgrade from 384.18... or AI Prot does not work indeed on the AX88U Alpha 1 ;)

PCE-AX58bt card is slower than old AC68

    Asus AX88U advanced firmware flash

    No, they are region locked.

Enabling DNS-over-TLS (DoT) is now allowing a flood of ads through

Hi, I wanted to confirm one thing about DoT in RMerlin firmware. Namely is this comment still valid and in e.g. 384.17 we still need to set it instead of leaving those fields blank?

    [384.18_Alpha Builds] Testing all variants

    shouldn't the changelog say about AX58U? :O I can't find the AX88U GPL, unless @RMerlin got it directly ;)

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.16 beta (and 384.13_5) are available

Ummm.. Dude... Don't, just don't... Do not use auto channel.. it is the root of all evil and notworkingness of the 5GHz network... Try wifi radar, check least crowder channels (preferably in the <100 range) and select it manually. Could've tried Virtualbox, WSL or the docker build container...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.16 beta (and 384.13_5) are available

Updated to beta2 works good... @axaro1, I make a guess that bufferbloat is not on your AX58 but on your ISP level...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.16 beta (and 384.13_5) are available

WPA3 is available only on AX routers at the moment. That is an Asus thing not RMerlins. You were supposed to read https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin.ng/blob/master/Changelog-NG.txt interpret the things there saying which GPL was merged and answer the question you asked by yourself ;)

    Close OpenVPN IPv6 leakage

switch tun to tap tunnel and you get dual stack ipv4 and ipv6 tunnel.. doesn't work on Android clients though :/
  19. A

    Close OpenVPN IPv6 leakage

    1) the firmware supports dual stack VPN... using TAP tunnels. 2) No you cannot disable it this way, you need to disable it in your LAN/Wifi adapter... Yes that sucks but there is no reasonable way to do that. You can also try to give your TUN IPV4 rule highest priority on the client side.

uiDivStats uiDivStats - WebUI for Diversion statistics

Yup... edit the cron entry using the cru command. I changed my hourly into nightly at 4 AM... It was a hassle to loose Internet for few minutes each and every hour ;)
