Wireless TX Power, why not Max?

So you say by #36/80 it actually makes a 42? http://www.revolutionwifi.net/revolutionwifi/2013/03/safely-using-80-mhz-channels-with.html And by this one https://metis.fi/en/2018/02/5ghz-channels/ it is most reasonable to set #100 for max power?

Wireless TX Power, why not Max?

Hmm.. so this thread in TL:DR means 1) Asus detects the region and if I bought the router from a legitimate EU (Polish) retailer... I get all the EU channels with their full proper channel? 2) Asus slacks and has cut the TxPower and channer for one set to rule them all globally? I believe it's...

    RT-AC87u IPv6 not working

That was the same problem in my case for which I added a default one over my PPPoE connection (ppp0), so just add it and voila your IPv6 starts working ;)

    RT-AC87u IPv6 not working

Try to look into this... the problem is with default route https://www.snbforums.com/threads/bug-ipv6-dhcp-pd-does-not-work-with-64-prefixes-on-asuswrt.30870/page-2#post-324516

    RT-AC87U 380.69_2 issues

ummm... manually assigning is supported, tick the flag enabled and input your IPs... You were talking about the situation with the flag disabled. "Turning it to no does not stop manual assignment"

    RT-AC87U 380.69_2 issues

Lawl... what you probably wanted is ARP binding which AFAIK Asus does not offer. The switch is all about enabling the manually assigned IPs to be served to your clients instead of MAC hashing. Try a different loopback option if you need it that much...

That or a new script in the 382 branch, which technically has been released stock for ac87u, but who wants to use that :P MerlinFW FTW! ;)

@RMerlin, hey there chief :) First and foremost thank you once again for all you efforts! Switching however into pester mode: I've gone through the 382.1 thread and saw AiProt signature were already brought up broken and fix.... however this is how it looks for me in the 380.69_2: Product ID...

[BUG] IPV6 DHCP-PD does not work with >64 prefixes on ASUSWRT

Hey there Chief! (@RMerlin) Could you please include this fix in Asuswrt-Merlin or maybe point us on how include the fix below, so that if the WAN IPv6 Gateway is missing after IPV6 connection initialization, then it would add the default route automatically? It is a hassle having to ssh into...

[BUG] IPV6 DHCP-PD does not work with >64 prefixes on ASUSWRT

Yes I 'solved' it... kinda... If your ISP goes over PPPoE, then you have the same setup as mine. 1) you need to get your hands on the router's shell (telnet or SSH) 2) you need to add manually the default routing ;) In my case: ip -6 route add 0::/0 dev ppp0 ip -6 route add default dev ppp0...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 Beta is now available

Yeah... for the time being I switched from SLAAC (stateless) to DHCPv6 (Stateful) native ipv6 so that my Windows PCs go with dual stack 6 & 4 whilst androids stick to ipv4. I'm still however not sure that I should have almost 30 routes for ipv6 and whether the default one over ppp0 interface is...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 Beta is now available

Sorry for the duplication but could someone else try it or copy here their rules (should they be using pppoe with native ipv6). With above route Windows machines start working like charm with ipv6. I'm still debugging Android's SLAAC sloppy network after enabling such ipv6. Cheers, Ankh

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 Beta is now available

Hello RMerlin, I've been toying with my AC87U on your latest firmware and its IPV6. I'm using native dhcp-pd ipv6 over PPP. The problem is to make it work I need to log in via SSH and add: ip -6 route add default dev ppp0 metric 256 For IPV6 to be reachable by my clients. Is it possible to add...
