    I was up and running for a full week on Asus official RT-AC3100_3.0.0.4_382_15852 without a single issue, and I did not make any of the changes recommended above; all of the settings mentioned above remained at default. Today I flashed to 380.68_4, did NOT make the changes recommended above...

    I understand that my flash method is inconvenient, long and unnecessary, but it would have no bearing on my issue nor a firmware being correctly applied to the router.
