    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

Wait, this "basement MoCA adapter tv port - > coax to second floor -> second floor MoCA adaptor moca port" doesn't sound right. The TV port on MoCA adapters typically only pass the low-band 5hz-1Ghz TV frequencies not pass MoCA signal (which is above 1Ghz). In other words, that TV port is only...

    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

Ah, sorry I didn't realize that. Now, just to make sure it's not a cabling problem, you *could* just disconnect all the MoCA 1.0/1.1 devices off the coax and try again. Do that and you will then be convinced that the coax is *not* the issue.

    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

I didn't mean run new coax but rather, since you already have the two adapters connected via coax runs, go to the attic, basement, or other location where all the coax runs converge and main splitters are located, find those two coax runs, and connect them together. That's what I did.

    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

Just out of curiosity, do you really need to be running these in the same cable plant as the MoCA 1.1 devices? I needed to extend an Ethernet connection across the house; for that i'm using MoCA 2.0 bonded and I simply connected the coax drop from the garage (where one adapter is) to the coax...

    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

In MoCA one device is the "Network Coordinator" since the architecture is CDMA/CD; it's responsible to sending the beacon. Beacons (bits of network information) are used for devices to join the network. Typically you should not enable Preferred NC and allow the adapters to auto-negotiate who...

    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

Also, why is network security enabled on the D-Ext but your MoCA setup shows the "In Scan List" on the D-High?

    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

According to your first image, that specific adapter is getting and dropping lots of bad Ethernet frames. Does the other adapter also show bad Rx frames?

    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

You're not going to get better than that for point to point, as the Ethernet NIC is GigE. But since MoCA is shared medium, you can get a better aggregate throughput for multiple devices.

Locating cable modem BEFORE moca poe filter and splitter

Neat! I have the Zyxel 2.0 bonded and achieve 940Mbps between two devices without issue. Can I ask why you are even connecting that MoCA Splitter to the rest of the coax? Why not simply connect the two MoCA runs with a barrel connector? That's what I did :)

Locating cable modem BEFORE moca poe filter and splitter

If there's no MoCA requirements on your cable modem, then I would say Option B is better. Having the PoE Filter as described on B allows better signal strength (less dB loss due to reflection on the PoE) between MoCA Adapters. Which MoCA version are you attempting to deploy? MoCA splitters...

    linux based NAS os'es

I use HP MicroServers as the NAS linux boxs as shown below. The HPs are AMD N40 dual core, low power 1.5Ghz CPUs, with 8GB of RAM. Each boots off SSD and has up to 4 SATA HDDs. GigE nic. The router is separate and out-of-scope for OMV.

This seems related to javascript perhaps?

    MoCA2.5 adapters is coming

Please tell us more once you put into production. Do these units have a web UI for checking firmware, frequency bands, phy connect rate, etc.?

    Zyxel HLA4205 GUI?

Anyone know if the HLA4205 MoCA 2.0 adapters have a web UI? I couldn't find any information on the docs, but usually this is not documented.

ActionTech ECB6200 MOCA adapter , not getting full speed

Another suggestion, disconnect your cable modem off that splitter, and disconnect from the POE altogether. Run the iperf test with just the MoCA devices on the cable plant. Then we might know if there's something with the incoming cable signal, the cable modem, or the cable plant... Just the...

ActionTech ECB6200 MOCA adapter , not getting full speed

I think you need to further map your home coax layout. Any unused coax cables should be removed from the splitters and those ports on the splitters terminated. Alternatively, you can terminate the open ports on the walls. Also, if your signal coming from the cable company is too hot (high)...

    MoCA2.5 adapters is coming

It's a switch... just like your Ethernet switch has multiple ports. So two computers, one on each 1GigE port could be transmitting/receiving at full speed and the uplink (MoCA 2.5) would transport those two sessions.

    MOCA noob needs advice

Unless the cable lengths are exceptionally long for a home, or the RG-59 is damaged, it should work with MoCA 2.0. Even non-MoCA 2.0 splitters tend to work just fine, the technology is very forgiving. I would concentrate to ensure the frequency bands are not overlapping with your cable modem...
