    I have the same problem, on 2.4GHz it won't go more than 216.5 mbps. I have the driver version 7.35.315.0 on my Windows 10 installed.

    I think this is the real cause of the problem. The PCE-AC68U won't go above 216.5 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. I will report this too to Asus.

    I have the same issue with my RT-AC87U, although I set the router on Channel 6 and 40Mhz.

    When I set in my Asus Router the option Username/Password Authentication to YES and Username/Password Authentication only to NO. The connection is working very well. I can even connect from my Android with both apps mentioned above from other internet places.

    If I add wl0.1 from the UI it disappears. On my AC87U there is also a bug when I add 4 clients to the Bandwidth Limiter and click Apply, they all disappear from the list.
