    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

I currently use a 4-way BAMF splitter with 3 in use with the 4th capped (plan to use the 4th down the road), and it has not affected my connections. The 3 adapters in use show phy rates of approximately ~3500 between them. And the testing should take that long. You should be able to quickly...

    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

I've used 2 separate BAMFs to success in my setup so they should work for you. Did you ever test the nodes separately as mentioned?

    goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter

@Artex my first thought would be to plug in your upstairs adapters one by one to the green cables in the attic, before introducing the potentially lower quality yellow cable. Try them individually on the green and then all 3 on the green. If you see the nice 3.5gbit connections established, you...

    Issues with Tablo

Just wanted to update that the DNS Filter suggestion seems to have worked. Just went through the guide again, and see it's fully populated, which means it's been updating successfully since I applied the change. Thanks for helping with that!

    Issues with Tablo

Thank you, I will try this. For now, since I'd updated when I briefly turned off DoT, i'll have to wait a few days to see if the guide empties again.

    Issues with Tablo

Holy crap, you were right! After literal weeks, that'a all it was! The problem now, is figuring out how to exclude the Tablo from DOT since I definitely don't want my entire network off it.

    Issues with Tablo

Hi there, I'm having issues with my Tablo Dual 64GB. For some reason, it's not pulling the guide data for the channels I've selected. When I first set it up back in March, everything worked great, but for the last 2 months or so, it hasn't been able to update. I've swapped many emails with...

AC86U - 384.17 - Lost 5GHZ, Rebooted Manually, appears but says wrong password

Had an 86U completely use all 5GHZ functionality earlier this year. After a reboot, something would connect for ~1-2 minutes, and then nothing could ever again. All devices could see it, but nothing could connect. RMA-ed with Asus, and pretty much got a brand new 86U from them. Apparently this...

    MOCA network verification?

I have a similar setup, except I have 3 adapters for 1 router and 2 access point setup. One thing I would suggest is getting rid of the splitter on the second floor. I have the coax from the wall going into the MOCA Port of the adapter; a coax cable from the TV port of of the adapter to the...

asus ax88u Wireless reboots with aimesh

I have the same setup as you, AX88U as main, and 2 AC86U as Aimesh nodes. While I'm not having your same issue, the setup is finicky. Ended up having to disable Wifi 6 (ironically the point of the AX...), and just 2 days ago, nothing could sign-on to Wifi on one of the nodes (ring doorbell...

5G network crashing on an AC86U

ran into the same issue on an 86U. Wifi was transmitting, but no devices could connect. Had to RMA twice, but the second time, Asus just sent me a brand new 86U. Discussed here: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/ac86u-after-a-few-days-has-no-5ghz-clients.54752/

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.17 (and 384.13_8) are now available

Dirty upgrade from 384.15 on my ax88u as main, and ac86u as mesh nodes. Been running for almost 36 hours with no issues.

NOOB question: How to update Merlin with USB/AMTM

So, after I unmount, and upgrade, I guess upon reboot, it automatically remounts and I'm good to go? No further action required?

    Unknow Device on Network

Hi there, Logged into my admin page and noticed 2 devices on my 5GHZ network using the following IP address: 169.254.164.230. It says 2 devices are on my system with that address. MAC is: DELETED. My setup is AX88U main, with 2 86U as wired AIMesh. These are wired using MOCA 2.5 adapters...

DOCSIS 3.0/3.1 Cable Modems and MOCA

I moved about 1.5 months ago. I had 1gbit with my old ISP via a DOCSIS 3.1 modem (I wanna say it was the Arris). Never tested MOCA on it, but the admin page noted the highest frequency used at around ~950. At new place I have Spectrum gigabit on the Ubee E31U2V1 DOCSIS 3.1. Have note been able...

    AX88U Wi-fi Question/Issue

I think I solved it. Turns out my Aimesh nodes were blocking those settings, at least initially (have 2 86Us as nodes. 1 wired and 1 wireless). I shut down everything, and then solely booted the x88u. Low and behold, way too many channels to choose now. I selected 160 MHZ only, and channel 112...

    AX88U Wi-fi Question/Issue

Yeah, there's probably some setting mucking it up somewhere.

    AX88U Wi-fi Question/Issue

Changing the channels to 160-only didn't let me select a channel, it just set it to auto, and now the connection speed is only 115 Mbps. Reverted back to channel 48 manual selected and at least getting 877 again. Are there maybe other conflicting settings somewhere?

    AX88U Wi-fi Question/Issue

Ahh interesting. And doing 160-only won't block off other devices that can only do 20 or 40? Guess i never knew exactly what that toggle does.
