    In order to achieve 1GB you need to have also an enough powerful computer. Over 500 MB my ISP is recommending i7 CPU and SSD hard drive. It is this your case?

    Tried too before with more powerful antennas on AC87U in order to extend the range but the results were worse, with high instability of signal. Then in my case, hgg fw solved the range issue.

    2 days with no issues with new version 380.57.4. Upgraded without reset to default. Actually I didn't had issues also with previous versions. I think that the current one has a smoother interface. Anyway, still a great job!

    yes and no. On 97 at my first job I had coaxial. The first fiber ring around the country it was on 2002 or 2003 as I remember.

    Business line is different because is guaranteed and that is more expensive. I'm lucky in Romania with the internet, we are in top 5 on internet speed. The infrastructure is quite new. For 6.5 Eur/month I have 300/100. For 10 Eur I can have 1000/200 but is too much for the devices that I have...

    I don't get it what is the issue with mac and regulations. Maybe somebody can help if you can provide more info about the problem. Are you saying that mac is looking if the router has the regulations enabled? Maybe you didn't used the right channel as per country regulations

    The router life is not impacted by this. Play with the settings until you will find what is the best for you. There is a triangle between range, speed(bandwidth and stability. you can't have all on maxim. In my case first is stability, then a range to cover my apartment balanced with speed...

    My personal opinion is to go with first one! 70% on 380.57 has anyway much better range than 100% on previous version 378.55. I think that 100% is bringing distortions on signal like is audio on you go on maxim or is to powerful for the receiver making the communication router - device more...

    On 5G at 70% I have 250 Mbps on speed test. At 100% the signal was more powerful but in speed test I had around 150Mbps. Don't consider my results as reference.
