QoS not working on latest version 386.3

RT-AC68P here running 386.3 with Adaptive QoS + FlexQoS up and running with no problems or any changes to how it previously worked. I do use fq_codel in FlexQoS - in case that makes a difference...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.3 is now available

1.5 days since dirty update - no issues - all stable and working like a charm. Thanks RMerlin for another great update...

higher cpu utilization when idling (384.19 vs 386.3_0)

Now that I am looking I see the same - and the top process that seems to be causing these spikes is /usr/sbin/jitterentropy-rngd I am pretty sure I have seen this before 386.3 but never paid attention to it since I don't have any performance issue here (but my ISP is not the fastest at 120/18)...

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.2.5 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Updated using the GUI (first time trying that instead of command line). All is running well. Thanks dave14305 :)

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2_6 is now available

Did a dirty up from 386.2_4 last night - all good - thank you!!!

Solved AC-68U System GUI hanging with 386.2_4

Not sure which version you are upgrading the firmeware from - but if it's before 386.2 then it may take quite some time for the GUI to become responsive as there is some database maintenance going on... On mine it took about an hour. See the release notes for more details.

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.2.4 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Did you by any chance switch inbound and outbound (the way you posted it shows you have 15 mpbs inbound and 182.5 mbps outbound - which is probably the wrong way around)....?

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.2.4 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I add my 'vote' to stay with fq_codel. Works best for me

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.2.4 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I now remember seeing exactly the same message this morning. Didn't come back after manual restart and another reboot after so may just be related to the router being too busy to do something in the first 10 minutes or so after the update...

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.2.4 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Upgraded my RT-AC68P to 386.1 and latest FlexQoS 1.1 development branch this morning. Adaptive QoS manual limits and Queue Discipline fq_codel set. It was a bit choppy after even after the router settled down and while FlexQoS seemd to be running the router did not adhere to the set bandwidth...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

RT-AC68P Dirty update from 384.19 this morning before sunrise. The nt_center processing took about 10 minutes to finish it's job and everything settled down. Also switched to latest FlexQoS 1.1 development branch with Queue Discipline fq_codel. Will monitor everything for a while (reorganizing...

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.2.4 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Same experience with the 'policer' with 100/15 (120/18 in real life) Comcast business here... As long as I don't bounce against the upload limit all is good. FlexQoS keeps me just below the 18 and queues everything great so even with heavy upload almost maxing out the pip (online backup for...

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I see a mix of prio 3 and 2 entries. No device priority set (double checked just now) and no settings changes at all since the last reboot... rrr@RT-AC68P-2880:/tmp/home/root# tc class show dev br0 | grep -E "parent 10:1 .* prio " class htb 10:2 parent 10:1 leaf 1002: prio 2 rate 16Kbit...

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Upgraded my AC68U to 384.19beta1 and FlexQoS to v1.0.0 - all running well. As a plus 384.19beta1 seems to handle fast download rampup quicker: The short bufferbloat periods when QoS kicks in are much short. Suspect it has to do with the merge of bwdpi components from 385_20630. Thanks for all...

Release [Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 beta is now available

Upgraded my AC68U yesterday. No Problems - all running well (about 20 connected devices - all but 1 one wifi). I noticed that Adaptive QoS (with FlexQoS) is responding quicker than before to limit multi-stream download spikes (e.g. non secure dslreports speedtest) so the short period of buffer...

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I had the same connection for 8 month here last year after I moved (10mbit/s down 0.9mbit/s up on a good day). I used FreshJR at that time and could not get it to work well with the low upload. I had used it before on a 100/35 connection with no problems and am now using FlexQoS on a 115/18...

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Applied the update yesterday, enabled flushct and did a couple of 'random' restarts to see if it causes any issues - all my IOT devices are still running fine.

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I am happy to test as well - I have a bunch of IOT things (Door Camera - Thermostats etc...) that I can check if they have a problem with it....

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Recheck works great (didn't report a need to restart on my AC68U - but it did the check) :D

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.0 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Upgraded form FreshQOS to FlexQOS (when switching my AC68U to 384.18) - it works great! Thank you for all the effort to keep it alive and improve!
