[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.17 (and 384.13_8) are now available

Dirty upgrade on my RT-AC68U from 384.15 48 hours ago - all working fine (basic configuration with FreshJR for Adaptive QoS and one VPN client setup). Thank you!

    LG OLED C8 and RT-AC68U

I have had issues like that with the LG OLED B6 until I turned off the fast restart feature. It only takes 10 seconds extra or so for the smart functions to come up without it but network is stable. Before it would lose DHCP information after a while and pop up a lot of 'network disconnected'...

    Happy birthday to us

Big round of applause form me as well! Without Merlin's Magic (and FreshJRs QoS magic) I would likely have switched from Asus a long time ago - I am on my third router (RT-AC68U) at the moment and plan to stick with Asus as long as it has Merlin when the next one comes out.... Thank you so much...

question on Adaptive QOS with inconsistent Comcast

This is going to be a tricky one with no good answer regarding the speeds... You would need to set to 95% of the lowest stable speed but then you loose out most of the time... Another thing to look at: What queue discipline are you using? fq_codel would probably be best even if the upload...

    IPv6 Setup with Comcast/Xfinity

I had this problem initially. Rebooting the Modem after the Router has already rebooted with IPV6 settings Native enabled fixed the issue and it has been working for me ever since (using a DPC3941B)

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.7 Beta is now available

Just did a test setting a different IP through manual post on freedns.afraid.org - verified that it showed Then I rebooted the router (AC68U) and it updated back to the correct IP - so for me the update is working.... If there is anything else I can help to try I'd be happy to (likely won't be...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.7 Beta is now available

Working fine here - I never had a custom script - I switched to freedns during the alpha phase. I am using the same settings you have with username and password - with a 60 minute check. During boot I get the following update lines - Sep 15 06:57:17 inadyn[632]: In-a-dyn version 2.4 -- Dynamic...

    CPU Core 2 100% in 384.6

I had the same thing happen yesterday morning on my AC-68U. I noticed a little sluggishness on my network and when I checked the router I saw one core (don't remember if it was the first or second) at 100%. Looking at top it showed CPU 50% NIC . I then decided to just witch to the 384.7 Alpha...

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

Very Strange: On My RT-AC68P Cron is in sync with local time (I am in EDT) and it runs at 3am -here is the run from Thu->Fri with the reapply after the actual 2am update: Mar 30 02:00:37 rc_service: rc 32687:notify_rc restart_wrs Mar 30 02:00:57 kernel: ERR[parse_qos_conf:932] Can't set new QoS...

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

Let me first thank you for this fantastic script - it makes Traffic with heavy activity work so much better. A small suggest for improvement - I have applied the same in my local copy: For the 1) Compatible Version I changed the CRON time to 3am: I believe (I may be wrong) the automatic...

    BIG UPDATE FW Version 3.0.0.4.220

Being new to the N66U (just got it last week) - I have serious doubts about the QoS implementation: Set the Bandwidth truthfully and defined some rules... 60/8+ Mbit/s Internet connection... All is good and working well until I start getting into the 50+ Mbit/s download range: At that point...

    ASUS RT-N66U - my review

I don't think I would have said this a week ago: I am really glad the N66U was on backorder everywhere I looked. There is just to many bugs to justify. The QoS one is the latest of a series of mishaps that makes me wonder if the engineers working on this have ever written router software...

    ASUS RT-N66U - my review

Have you tried the build in NAS and it's performance? (I am soo close to getting the router - just need a little more convincing :-) )
