    Usually, with WiFi 6 (AX) connection on 2.4 GHz and 20 MHz channel, I get a speed of about 200 Mbps (test on phone and notebook).

    You must have an Internet connection speed of at least 5-10 Gbps and download a lot of data to see any difference. Pages loading and video calls will not show any differences.

    This is definitely too often. You are using very dangerous devices. ;) I expect security patches approximately every 1-2 years. Can you point out any security bugs in ASUS routers that are still available (can be used to hack the router)?

    That's right, but the short list includes basics such as changing the default password, setting Wi-Fi encryption, turn off WPS, UPnP, port forwarding, IPv6, update firmware, etc.

    Also check the price of the models: RT-AX53U, RT-AX55, RT-AX57, TUF-AX3000. Maybe you can get them for a price similar to RT-AC66U.

    Asus updates its EOL list, adds RT-AC1750, AC1900P, AC88U, AC5300

    and RT-AX92U IMHO RT-AX68U and and maybe RT-AX86U and many models based on RT-AX58U V1 (RT-AX3000, RT-AX82U, GS-AX3000 etc.) will join soon.
