    Just a small report that Merlin ver 374.43_2 works just fine with su_root's excellent solution! Thanks again! Huawei E3276 (NOT Hilink) LTE/4G The most stable connection I have had with a mobile broadband and a ASUS-router....;)

    OK, my missus went to turkey so now I can test as I want. ;) You don't have a LTE/4G connection? just a 3G or 3G+ connection, must be a 3G+ as what I've seen. We both have Telenor as ISP and I can put my modem in "only 3G" mode and test. Is it so?

    OK... then everything seems to be ok?! I am using a Telia branded E3276 unlocked with DC-unlocker and then using Telenor 4G network....

    No I have a unlocked modem E3276 from Telia. Cannot break the connection for all info for the moment and don't remember any terminal commands for info about the modem.... EDIT a test. Modem connected to PC and choose "Only 4G", then test with the router again.

    Strange, rebooted and this is the important from syslog. So the Asus script fails at 1.29 and my script runs after 2 minutes without any issues. I also got "Dual WAN" enabled.

    No my ISP has a well filled pool with ip-adresses. Nevertheless I switched back to Merlin and stays there for a while. Thats it with the magic commands from su_root! (and my missus kills me if I test more...:eek:)

    Ok, back home from work and unsecure Telnet was a surprise but it works. but, the output of "nvram show" contains private data and what is interesting? As I have written before E3276 and cdc_ncm is no "rocket-sciense" so it's just for Asus hire someone which knows how to set this up! IMHO...

    Yep, just a plain USB-serial connection, and how todo that without SSH or a command line in the GUI? I just have the sys log. Ask your dev mate if he can fix a real test version with SSH open!?

    I don't use a hub... rebooted and no cdc_ncm driver again. Going to test the magic commands again..... E3276 needs a control USB channel and thats probably "the hub"....?? testing! EDIT, no SSH so no test.... EDIT/EDIT Back to Merlin again....no hit and just a reverse to the situation a few...

    They cannot fix this without IRL testers around the world. Probably just a mess as with the latest connection script, who wrote that? It must be much easier testing solutions for example with help from Merlin, the vip asus forum is just a big mess and filled with (sorry) "noobs".

    Yep.... I cannot understand how Asus tests this without test guinea-pidgeons?? Asus Sweden are just noobs on this and I can freely be a guinea-pidgeon for testing. Or that they maybe can use master Merlin for this test?

    my sleep times is taken from the sys log and where I can see that the Asus script fails, after that it's time for magic commands...;)
