    I have it only as a single router, and can't be happier. Has some problems with a firm, that solved with the next one (some old 2'4 devices couldn't connect)

    Will wait for it being pulled in webui. I'm not in a hurry. Present firm is perfect. I would not update to this one, but it solves lots of security issues.

    ZenWIFI XP4 with WIFI and PLC

    I have 6 Kasa plugs with no problems at all with XT8 in any firm. Problems came with Android 6 devices, but latest firm solved them.

    I have just seen this: In bold says 43181 and below says 81351 The date is from yesterday. Has anybody tried it? And router says 43181 is the latest, so this 81351 is not detected: Although I have seen it is from 384 branch. So, perhaps is it a web site error...

    RT-AX55 is crap.

    I have AX55 connected in wifi bridge mode to an XT8 and I get 1 Gbps, stable speed (for example copying files to the NAS) as a good lan cable. I use AX55 to give internet to 2 NAS, a PS4, a Google TV device and a printer (the WAN port acts as a LAN port when in bridge mode, so you have 5 ports)...

    RT-AX55 is crap.

    I'm using AX55 in bridge mode to connect 5 wired devices wirelessly to an XT8, and it is really perfect. No problems at all, constant 1500 AX link, as fast as a gigabit cable. And when using it as a bridge, the WAN port acts as another LAN port, so I have 5 devices connected.

    Asus AX router recommendation for friend.

    I have attached 5 wired devices to the AX55 and put it in bridge mode towards my XT8. In this mode you can use de WAN port as another port for a device. I get the max bandwith it can support, 1200 mbps in AX mode. It is really perfect. I have a gigabit wlan.

    My system is a XT8 as standalone router, no Mesh. So I can't help you, but I have had no any problem downgrading to March firm.
