    Weird issue with D-Link DAP-1320 Repeater

    Y have a DAP1522 as a wifi bridge. There are a NAS, a printer and a Google TV connected to it with a wire, and the bridge is wifi connected to router. All those devices appear as "wired" in the 2 asus routers I have had (XT8 and N55U-D1). It is a bug of the WebUI (for years).

    XT8 random disconnects.

    Since last firmware, I'm having issues browsing Google webs (Gmail, Analytics, My Business, etc). They seems offline, and suddenly they load. (and Gmail tab says "lost connection", when the rest of tabs are ok) The same with any page that uses Analytics. I have tried EVERYTHING. My ISP says it...

    In the NAS there are hundreds of available funtions and apps, but I only use FTP, DLNA server and Resilio Sync. I tried changing the NAS, but now I can't afford a new one, so I thought about usin the router as dlna server to take this service out from the NAS (that is very slow due to Sync)...

    "Connection reset" errors while browsing on all devices (RT-AC68U)

    I'm having the same issues with latest firm in a XT8. But my problem is akways in Google -related pages (Gmail, Google, Keep, pages that load google fonts, doubleclick...). Most of google services end with a "ERR_CONNECTION_RESET". Any new ideas?

    XT8 5GHZ-2 WPA pre-shared key

    As I have mesh off (never enabled, I don't need it), pin is the same (labeled) by default for the 3 bands. I think that it will generate a long password for band 3 if I enable mesh.

    A question about DNS cache in ASUS router I can't find answer to.

    In WAN, I have two custom DNS (for example 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1). In LAN-DHCP I have my router as DNS server (or blank). Today I visit www.aaaaaaaaaaaa.com and router checks with 8.8.8.8 and goes to 1.2.3.4 (the resolved IP). Tomorrow the webmaster of www.aaaaaaaaaaaa.com changes the ip for it...

    Yes, I'm very happy with it too. I have had some dns problems with latest firm (from Feb 1st), but I think solved now.

    I suppose those fixes will be released into a stable firm in the near future. I have installed official.

    I have just seen it has a new (I think) speed test by ookla builtin. There are some little new features too.

    Yes, you can create 4 guest ssids for each band, and isolated from the rest of your LAN and each others. I think you don't need vlan for that purpose: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1042732/

    As this router only has 3 ethernet ports, I think eth4 and eth5 are, respectively, 2'4 band and 5 ghz band. Those are associations and disassociations of wifi devices. Check those MACs and see if they are wifi devices. And BSS and rssi are related to radio, not wire. I think. Router logs every...
