Connection issue of Time Schedule of AiProtection in Parental Control Merlin 384.3?

Does anyone have a suggestion regarding the same issues on AC-86U since it does not have NAT acceleration anymore in the settings?

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.4 is now available

Yes it seems like a there is a general issue with time checking/scheduling, because as mentioned before the wireless network scheduler does not work as well. edit: You can try to disable NAT acceleration: Connection issue of Time Schedule of AiProtection in Parental Control Merlin 384.3?

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.4 is now available

I do not know whether this occurred with 384.4.0 or with the updated version, but when I turn the wireless scheduler on and reboot the router all time frames where the Wifi should be turned off are reset. Can anyone else reproduce the issue?

How to use a different subnet for WiFi guest network?

Thanks for the continuously updated script, Jack Yaz! I would like to use it but I am still unsure where and how to call the script. Is it sufficient to edit the variables in the first section or do I have to specify the guest network as an argument? And would "wan-start" be a good place to call...

    Merlin Reboot Scheduler - GUI

@djbrad did you get it sorted out? I think this is true. I tried it for my RT-Ac66U (my admin user is also renamed) and then had a look into my cronjobs viacrontab -l There was no cronjob except for another one I have created myself listed. So this might be a bug.

Conflict with Policy Rules in OVPN

For whatever reason the simple solution to just add another rule for my remote LAN never crossed my mind. Probably because it was working before without the rule, when I had Policy Rules still turned off. At first, after adding the rule and changing Policy Rules to strict, nothing seemed to...

Conflict with Policy Rules in OVPN

I left the Policy Rules changed to non-strict now as Jack suggested. I found out a few new things. So as I mentioned I am not able to ping any device on the client side (192.168.3.*) from the Server LAN as soon as I turn on Policy Rules - EXCEPT for the device x that should be routed through...

Conflict with Policy Rules in OVPN

No, unfortunately it does not work with either of the two Policy Rules settings. Maybe I should mention that if I connect to the OVPN Server (192.168.4.1) with another device, then I am able to access the 192.168.3. subnet from that device (probably because of Allow Client <-> Client (x))...

AC68u - Throws receiver off LAN

I think it might be possible with wireshark, but I am no expert. But if you do not use DLNA or anything similar, I would suggest - as a temporary workaround at least - to set up a guest network with no Intranet access which would isolate the receiver an Android phones.

Conflict with Policy Rules in OVPN

Hello, I have currently set up the following: RT-AC56U 380.68_4 RT-AC66U 380.69 192.168.4.1 <--- (tun) 192.168.3.1 (OVPN Server) (OVPN Client) Push LAN to clients (x)...

AC68u - Throws receiver off LAN

So from my guess it would be the receiver that is causing the issue. Maybe try turning off AirPlay (if possible). After you reset the receiver did you upgrade the firmware to the newest version available? Does your receiver have the same IP after it reconnects?

Routing Table Gateway column contains only * after OpenVPN connection

Thank you :). So my best bet would probably be to start all over again?

Routing Table Gateway column contains only * after OpenVPN connection

Hello everyone, first of all let me express a huge thank you to everyone in the community, especially RMerlin. I have been using the Merlin firmware for well over 3 years now and followed many tutorials in this forum without being signed up. AsusWRT Merlin has almost never let me down - till...
