Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

But that's totally normal for a device that has a low power standby state. Keeping a radio active consumes electricity

    Native IPv6 - no LAN IP's populating

I read some similar threads on the Verizon/FiOS/IPV6 boards but those guys get pretty technical .... I use to have working native IPV6 for years here in MA and I haven't had it for the past few months. So something changed.

UI reports no internet connection except its all working fine

I agree. I live in one of Verizon's original IPV6 testbeds in MA and there's been chatter that they have been reconfiguring our area due to expanded national roll-outs but .... who knows really. At least everything is working fine :)

UI reports no internet connection except its all working fine

Yep, resolves fine -- but the router decided to show its connection status properly now so ... must have been an ISP glitch. Thanks. Name: dns.msftncsi.com Address 1: fd3e:4f5a:5b81::1 Address 2: 131.107.255.255 dns.msftncsi.com

UI reports no internet connection except its all working fine

It is not using IPv6 (anymore) - my FiOS has been native IPV6 for sometime and they seem to have disabled it in my area recently for some reason. Anyhow I discussed that in another thread ... but that idea did cross my mind, so I changed IPv6 to "disabled" and rebooted again this morning before...

UI reports no internet connection except its all working fine

I don't often log into my router cause it just works. However this morning I see this, despite the fact that my internet works fine and I'm getting my full gig speeds. Did a reboot, nothing changed. I have no idea how long ago this started but it did work under current firmware at some point.

    Native IPv6 - no LAN IP's populating

This has nothing to do with a browser. If the router isn't getting IPV6 information and distributing addresses across the LAN, how *would* a browser / device test anything except IPV4 "get in the zone"

    Native IPv6 - no LAN IP's populating

I randomly read this post and looked at my RT-AC3100 setup page ... and mines no longer working either. I have FiOS and have had native IPV6 for some time. Also on 386.5_2 I have no idea how long its not been working :)

Diversion Diversion issue with Freevee aka ImdbTv

Can't you follow dmasq by the device IP (which is f - 4 I believe) and figure out what is causing the issue, then add that to the manual whitelist. No reason you should have to toggle Diversion off and on.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 is now available

@unsynaps since the other thread was locked, MetroWest Boston ... we've actually been an original test bed for IPV6 and had native for a few years now. Long thread here if you're interested

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 beta is now available

Just reporting in that beta3 DDNS using my Google DDNS is now working again, and I use native IPV6 via my FiOS

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 beta is now available

Ok now its stopped working .. my IP is not updating in my Google domains page any longer. So is it just broken with IPV6? I have FiOS and native IPV6 has been supported (and working) for a few years :-/

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 beta is now available

My DDNS (google) has a big yellow exclamation point (!) as if there is an error, however it is working just fine and my internal routing resolves fine.

Solved Text Notifications on Android Phones

My Pixel 3 notification work fine, even when screen is off, I do use Diversion on my router. You have a lot of variables to run through honestly. In your previous post you reference running two routers so ... that could def be an issue.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.3 is now available

I've experienced the same. I have native IPV6 with FiOS yet I've had to disable IPV6 on my Win10 nic because it constantly does this. Every mac, android, misc device in the house work fine.

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server) - General questions / discussion thread 2

That was not my point and I've read those threads. I was commenting on the OP I quoted who equated the DNS firewall to Diversion, not Skynet.

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server) - General questions / discussion thread 2

I thought the DNS Firewall was more like Skynet, and Diversion more like the builit in adblocker in Unbound. I recently streamlined and only use Unbound with both DNS firewall and adblock on, has been working great.
