Settings to allow AX200 based PCI card to connect to the AX network on AX92u

My limited knowledge would suggest that your AX200 card is in disagreement with the channel, and therefore I would suggest that you change the channel - just as I suggested in the previous thread. ;)

Intel AX200 and AX92U - AX Wifi a lot slower compared to AC?

Manually to 160 MHz, and this is what I would recommend. Just keep in mind that I'm referencing my router - a TP-Link.

Intel AX200 and AX92U - AX Wifi a lot slower compared to AC?

Trial and error. :) Although quite a few users have had success with various wifi analyser apps. I get the best results with my dedicated AX band (5 GHz band no. 1) set to channel 36, but this is just my scenario.

Intel AX200 and AX92U - AX Wifi a lot slower compared to AC?

I've had separate modes (N, AC and AX) set up on my Archer AX11000 for months, with everything working properly. I would think this is obvious and commonplace?

Intel AX200 and AX92U - AX Wifi a lot slower compared to AC?

Although I do not own your model of router (I have the TP-Link Archer AX11000), I would say from experience that a lot depends on whether you have a specific channel set manually for your AX clients. When I choose "Auto", I get a link rate of no more than 1,2 GHz (albeit a higher actual speed...

GT-AX11000 wifi 5Ghz change channel on its own

You could try the latest driver version, that is 21.120.0. Your version, i.e. 21.110.1, was quickly removed from the Intel website ... Also, the 21.110.1 did not want to install on a few of my computers running AX200 cards. However, it's currently running on one of them - a laptop - which has no...

Old laptop connect to AX88U but no internet

Good for you, but the Killer 1202 seems to have better driver support (the current version is 2.2.1461 from 18 May 2020).

[ROG RAPTURE GT-AX11000] Experiences & Discussion

Sorry to ask a dumb question, but you have turned off WiFi6 features in order gain stability on the AX11000!?

Old laptop connect to AX88U but no internet

With a card this old, I would definitely doubt the router being the problem. You could try an AX200, costs peanuts. Bought mine on Aliexpress.

Old laptop connect to AX88U but no internet

Is your Intel driver up-to-date? According to their website, the latest version is 21.10.1 from 21 May 2019 (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28621/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-Software-and-Drivers-for-Intel-Wireless-7260-Family?product=75439), so its quite old. Also, the 7260 is "End of...

ASUS current routers going to support WIFI 6E?

Thanks for the explanation. :) So, AX in and of itself would be responsible for how much of the increase - 30%/40% (as a rough estimate)?

ASUS current routers going to support WIFI 6E?

No - I can only set 160 MHz on the router, and I've done accordingly on the AX11000. The C5400X doesn't support 160 MHz channels. PS The Intel driver for the AX200 (21.80.2 as of today) doesn't allow you to chose 160 MHz, it only gives you the option, for 5 GHz, of "Automatic" (which I'm...

ASUS current routers going to support WIFI 6E?

Myself, I recently bought an AX router, the Archer AX11000. When I set it up and connected with my three AX clients (PCs with Archer TX3000E aka Intel AX200 wi-fi cards), the step up in speed was instantaneous - and considerable, by 40% to 50% when compared to what I got with my Archer C5400X...

Repeater can't connect to the AC86U

Well, for me the problem with TP-Link is that there is no problem ... :) It's just that I've got the RE650 repeater, and I could set it up blindfolded, however with Xiaomi I have no hands-on experience. But I'll outline my connection procedure just in case, maybe you'll find it useful (RE650...

Repeater can't connect to the AC86U

My apologies then, I'm unable to help - I've no experience with Xiaomi.

Repeater can't connect to the AC86U

As I understand from a different thread, you have a TP-Link repeater (I could be mistaken, tho). If so, then what model? And are you following the instructions exactly?

    AC-86U 5Ghz band disappearing problem

By far the simplest and most sensible answer.

    AC-86U 5Ghz band disappearing problem

Having used a bunch of repeaters with a bunch of routers over the years (currently the TP-Link CE650 with the TP-Link C5400X), I would venture the opinion that no, a repeater connected wirelessly to your router is not causing the problem. Dedicated repeaters are essentially "router neutral" (or...
