    I had to revert to RC4 as clients would lose internet connectivity when attaching to an AC86U node. RC4 has been working fine since.

    I find it incredibly difficult knowing there is a new FW out and resisting the urge to upgrade :) Can't say things always work as they should, though.

    I have this issue using an AC86U as both Router and Node. No internet when connected to the node running RC2 firmware. I reverted the node to 3.0.0.4.384_81992 and things work fine. (Working) Setup: RT-AC86U AiMesh Main: 9.0.0.4.386_39179 RT-AC85U AiMesh Node: 3.0.0.4.384_81992 RT-AC66U_B1...

    This happened to me as well on an AC86U. Restored factory settings and was able to move forward with the VPN.

    I downgraded to Merlin's latest after having a few clients connect/disconnect every 15 seconds or so.

    Deployed this after dirty flashing Merlin's latest a few days ago. Did a factory reset / init. No issues so far.

    Tested with 12.3 beta and the dictionary matches with a leading zero entered. The notification output strips the zero, however.

    It appears to strip the zero when getting the BSSID. Showing result of variable 'BSSID' prior to comparing to the dictionary yields the stripped leading zero(es).

    Did a factory restore to see if it helps. Otherwise I guess I'll be going the RMA route. Edit: Kernel dumps again after recovery firmware restore. Device will be going back to ASUS for repair.

    Thanks for posting the logs. Watching this thread as I'm experiencing the same issue with the AC86U crashing. I've removed the N66U_B1 from service and am still getting crashes on the 86U. I swapped each and now the main node stays up but the mesh node crashes. Edit: syslog of offending node...

    Experiencing similar issues with the exact same setup here. Main AiMesh- AC86U Node 1 - AC86U Node 2 - AC66U_B1 Issue here is the router 'forgets' that it is AiMesh after some time. The functionality still works but logging into the router it appears that the UI has reverted to regular router...

    Sometimes fast, sometimes slow. While I'm not employee of ASUS, I can imagine that since this firmware is relatively new and there are likely some impactful bugs that need to be addressed, we may see builds more quickly at first.

    Interesting thread as I experiencing the same with my AC86U not being able to see my AC66U B1 despite the firmware update. The node cannot be found. Attempting to place the 66U into AiMesh Node mode resets it into Wireless Router mode, so it’s back to a wired AP until a future update or someone...
