    RT-AC88U Dual Wan load balance

you need to understand the difference between load balancing and link aggregation , you not going to get 150/125 unless both the router and isp's support link aggregation

NETGEAR's Orbi 2.0 Software Release has Mesh Daisy Chain Functionality

certainly much faster speed over the ethernet backhaul for ethernet connected clients as the rbk50 is 1733M and the rbk40 is 867M tbh i would start with just 2 x orbi and see how the wifi performs and then look at what else is needed

    AC88U... Merlin Worth it?

well you suggested if your happy with the stock i see no reason to need to go merlin until you need its specific and extra features , the reason i say this is merlins fw is built on the stock and relies on the stock base , installing merlins wont give you extra coverage or faster throughput

hi guys first thing of note is its form factor , surprising in this age of bigger and bigger and bigger monoliths when it comes to wireless router the rt-ac86u believe it or not is almost exactly the same size as its predecessor in the rt-ac68u , this is achieved by running the 4th 5 gig...

NETGEAR's Orbi 2.0 Software Release has Mesh Daisy Chain Functionality

then you are better to leave it in star topology anyway with daisy chain disabled , and now its not intelligent and will get confused unless your setup is orbi router ---wifi---orbi sat --- wifi --- orbi sat leave them on enable this if your clients seem to be hanging onto the other node...

just a note here , the 88u and 5300 although the do connect are still in very early stages of beta with stability and throughput issues , the rt-ac68u paired are quite stable on their own , again this is a work in progress and issues like this should be reported so wilson can continue the beta...
