so both these routers are tri band and to be honest there are very few ppl that can take advantage of tri band as most dont have any where near the amount of 5 gig devices to warrant buying a tri band over a dual band router but the netgear is as follows 1 x 5 gig low band 1300M 1 x 5 gig...

ASUS Lyra Home Wi-Fi System Reviewed

what i am suggesting is that with the results posted which tbh are pretty bad that perhaps the chamber and perhaps tech procedure (seeing as its quite new ) may be contributing to the issue esp since other reviews are not seeing such bad performance , testing outside the chamber will answer that...

most of those reviews i have read didnt test the orbi and so have no reference , im guessing its in some cases who pays for the advertising and where the revenue comes from , no doubt velop is ok but its very expensive at the same time

ASUS Lyra Home Wi-Fi System Reviewed

perhaps worth doing a real world outside the box test , as in outside the chamber and in your house as you have done b4 as the other tests and reviews have done just that , there maybe something in the claims about the active antennas and how they work in real world rather than in the box testing
