    Wi-Fi System Roundup

its not , mesh / dw are not a replacement for the standard router / ap setup where structured ethernet is in place mesh / dw is an improvement on what a single big honking router can achieve wifi coverage wise then you gain nothing even thinking of moving from this setup to the mesh/dw...

Asus Lyra wifi mesh system- Band selection criteria? Signal strength over speed, or???

R7800 - why no Auto option for 5Ghz channel ?

why would you want them ? auto is the worst selection for any wifi , its always best to select a ch to use for both bands , this avoids connection issues with clients as well

    media bridge routing

you understand what a media bridge is , its basically a replacement for a long ethernet run , once you set a router to media bridge mode its basically a wireless adapter that you can connect wired clients to and pretty much nothing else as the router function for the most part have been bypassed

    RT-AC3100 5GHz Problems

how are you reading this ? is your referring to the levels in inSSIDer and the like that signal level in rssi and the higher the negitive number the worse the signal is anything above -70 and you will start to see degregation in the signal quialty and throughput past -80 and your ether just...
