    Well I also got a AC68U, and the newest Merlin, and it working like a charm. Have you made a factory reset? The newest Merlin is 384.4_2, leave the betas... I have nothing about dd-wrt (yes I have read about them, but not tried). And Merlin's version are to me far better than ASUS versions...

    Asus ac3200 and ac68u

    Hi. Do you really need two routers/ac-points to get enough Wifi signals? The AC3200 will be better for VPN because of CPU. But here goes my suggestion: Internet -> AC3200 WAN and AC3200 LAN -> AC68 WAN. Always use cables if possible, because of speed and security. Regards

    Thanks :) I do definity also not want any draft hardware, hence 2020 or later for shopping next router. And then I will try to find one that is supported for several years like you. Was checking which version, and it was hardware version A2.

    OK thank for info. I have no directly WAN to the Internet. I got a 192.168.x.y WAN IP to my ISP. Right now i got 192.168.23.135 WAN IP on my router. From grc.com I got the WAN IP address: 217.x.y.z I wait and see what Merlin's 382.x does when it is stable. Regards
