    RT-AX88U CPU Usage

Sounds good. Hoping to hear some good news. Just an FYI - I waited several hours (unintentionally) between reboots. As @L&LD has suggested many times before, the router needs time between reboots to let everything 'settle'.

    RT-AX88U CPU Usage

Don't know if this applies to your situation but I had the same thing happen to my RT-AC86U after installing amtm, entware, Skynet and Diversion Standard, in that order. I had to reboot it twice without changing anything and it seemed like the changes finally 'stuck'. Now it runs below 10%...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Good to know, thanks. Adding googleadservices.com worked initially on one machine but not another; both Win10. Tried www.googleadservices.com which didn't work on either. The blank page was googleadservices.com/pagead/ so tried pagead2.googleadservices.com which, again, worked on one but not...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

@thelonelycoder Before I give up on this I just want to confirm that getting the blank googleadservices.com page when clicking ad links after doing a Google search is normal Diversion behavior? Seems only my Pixel isn't affected.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

So I'm running into the 'googleadservices' being blocked and leaving a blank page situation when clicking an ad link with my Dad's iPhone. I've done some research and this is normal as Diversion is doing its job, but staying on a blank page is an issue. I tried replicating this with my Windows...

*ISSUE FOUND* RT-AC66U - 5 Ghz radio not working on 380.65_4

Don't know if you ever got this sorted out, but just in case anyone else is running into the same issue like I did recently after updating our RT-AC66U to the latest Merlin 380.70 and seeing the 5GHz was disabled, I found a thread on tomshardware with the following instructions that worked:

    AC66U - 5GHz radio death?

Recently had this issue with our RT-AC66U that we had set up as a Repeater. Updated to latest Merlin 380.70 and 5GHz was disabled. Trying the above method didn't work. After some Googling came across a thread on tomshardware with the following instructions that worked:

    I quoted @L&LD who has customers ;)

Skynet Skynet - Router Firewall & Security Enhancements

You must've developed a great deal of patience dealing with customers like this, who seem ungrateful and unappreciative of the generous help they're getting. I would've stopped responding long ago :)

    amtm amtm step-by-step install guide - L&LD

Thought I'd make a new post so everyone can see this update: Was poking around in Diversion's settings and saw Skynet was suggesting to enable additional hosts files, so I did. Don't know if that had anything to do with it, or the router just needed yet another restart, but after doing so the...

    amtm amtm step-by-step install guide - L&LD

You guys are awesome. Thank you so much for your help :) @CaptainSTX Thank you for sharing this. So clearly my CPU usage is way above what it should be. @L&LD Sorry for leaving that out. No I'm still on 384.13. I realized after forcing the Skynet update that I needed 384.15 Alpha for the...

    amtm amtm step-by-step install guide - L&LD

Thanks for your quick reply! I have the RT-AC86U. I followed your guide and rebooted and waited 10 minutes after changing the SSH Port and enabling 'SSH Brute Force Protection'. Then I installed amtm which I don't think required a reboot. I proceeded to install the USB drive, format it, create...

    amtm amtm step-by-step install guide - L&LD

So right after doing the above, I noticed the CPU Cores were at 50-60%. I figured this was normal. Last night (24 hours later) I checked and both were pegged at 97-99%. Doing a quick search I found that if you make any setting changes to Diversion this can happen and a reboot brings it back to...

    amtm amtm step-by-step install guide - L&LD

Okay phew good to know. Not that the router turns off instead of rebooting, but that I'm not the only one experiencing that. Thank you.

    amtm amtm step-by-step install guide - L&LD

Firstly big thanks to @RMerlin @L&LD @Adamm @thelonelycoder @ColinTaylor and anybody else I'm forgetting for not only creating and sharing these amazing tools but for the documentation and guides to get everything up and running! :) Finally built up the courage to install amtm, disk check...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.14 (and 384.13_2) are now available

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys. To be fair there was an equal number of people with and without issues, but of course, it's the former that had me concerned. May give it a shot on my RT-AC86U.

I've read through this entire thread and what I'm gathering is wait for 384.15?

    RT-AC86U WPS Clear NVRAM

Yes, or in my case since I bought it used, any remaining warranty transfers over to the replacement.
