[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

RT-AX88U.... Directly from the tech support email, they specifically told to be enable the setting "Extended NSS" within the email....soooooooooo. That is why started looking around and landed here after I tried the Merlin Firmware to see if it may have fixed the issue. Some say it works...

[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

Yes, but part of my problem is I've never even seen the blocked off channels to be able to have them as a selection to be able to restore. I'm unclear as I've left it on channel 36 for the last 18 hours and nothing has changed....still at 866.7Mbps. I could see if the channels where saying...

[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

I saw that image in the quest to figure out what is going on. I don't understand why the list isn't complete. From what people are saying thus far, those channels seem to be allowable to use, but the router isn't letting them. I just verified, I bought the router from Newegg on 4/9/2020. Not...

[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

Well that is part of the problem, my control channels are Auto, 36, 40, 44, 48 then it jumps to 149, 153, 157, 161, 165 and that is it. How do I force 52-64? TY.

[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

As "guideline"......what would be an acceptable "distance" from an airport in miles to "rule out" DFS issues from Airport radar? This really sucks, when I bought this router, I fully expected to have Gigabit wireless as I do a lot of video MP4 file transfers between my client and NAS.

[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

I will shut off the 4 nodes and try......and fix the control to ch 40. In terms of airports around me......here is what I know: Airports with scheduled flights sorted by distance. Type Airport Name City IATA Code Connectivity Distance Theodore Francis Green State Airport Providence PVD...

[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

I just copied this from my wireless log area. I do not have Merlin just the latest stock Asus for this router. I did try Merlin to see if the "Extended NSS" option was there, but it wasn't either....so that still has me scratching my head. SSID: "Ki" noise: -90 dBm Channel: 2 BSSID...

[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

What is the best way to "see" what the issue may be and/or interference with the channel widths? Is there some logging file export that can tell me what the issue may be?

[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

As of your reply, I went back to check, the router on 5GHz is set to Auto for channel selection and is on Ch 40. I went into my AC-9260 client laptop, manage all known networks.......forget......went back and reconnected the 5GHz SSID and is still currently at 866.7Mbps for the link speed. I...
