[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Hi @john9527! Thanks for your hard work! I am trying to re-compile 26E3 and found out you are missing the file /release/src/router/samba36/source3/configure in your repo. Grabbed it from Merlin's so not big deal, but just so you can check that for future pushes!

Hi @john9527, glad to hear you're back on your feet! Will you be pushing 25E1 to github?

Hi @john9527 I have just tested with 23E3 (actually a recompiled mod with a few unrelated tweaks in openvpn). It wasn't working on boot but after restarting wan the timers seem to be working fine: Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever restarted wan in 23E1 to see what happens...

Thanks! I'll update as soon as I can find some spare time and let you know! BTW, I will stop being a Dual WAN user soon (my bkp ISP cut out the plan I was grandfathered in for which I had a 10MB/3MB for USD10, makes no sense paying up full price of USD40+) so at least I'll stop nagging you with...

That is correct, the update is still pending. From the intrusion prevention standpoint I think you'll be just fine with tls-auth.

It is in fact tls-crypt and it'll be better, but not backwards compatible and you will need v2.4 in your clients

I’d recommend setting up HMAC Auth which will make your server discard every connection atempt that does not have that key before exposing a larger attack surface. https://community.openvpn.net/openvpn/wiki/Hardening#Useof--tls-auth

100% True, my bad! Both WAN Uptime counters (Total/Current) are 0(hh/mm/ss), and I see the "WAN is down" legend as well I've just double checked and the "Redirect to error page" is indeed in "Link or WAN down" (web_redirect=3)

Hi @john9527, WAN Uptime seems to be broken in Dual WAN, it seems 22E4 was the last working version (went back as far as 23B2 and it was not working). I know I was supposed to be testing this, with the whole VPN issues I never got a chance to look at it but still thought you should know. S -

Ok! I'll just go and reset everything, reflash, clear browser cache (that first!). Thanks for the quick reply

Hi @john9527! Running 23E1 for a couple days now, everything was going fine until I tried to go to the "Tools" section (Tools_Sysinfo.asp) and the http daemon crashed. It even happened after a factory reset. Using Chrome 56.0.2924.87 with no extensions Anyone else facing this issue?

Hi @john9527, how are you? I am trying to build your fork from source but I am facing some issues that I think are due to missing files in github. I get the following errors: configure.ac:580: required file `doc/Makefile.in' not found configure.ac:580: required file `util/Makefile.in' not found...

    OpenVPN 2.4.0 client problems [Solved]

Open the zip file, you'll have there a file if I'm not mistaken is called ca4096.crt. Paste its contents in the CA box of the vpn client config page, will look something like this:

No, redirecting all traffic. Weirdest thing is it starts working after restarting the firewall and I couldn’t see anything odd in the start_firewall function (22E4 at least, last source available) I’m guessing either the wandog changes or some iptables rules that are misplaced when the VPN...

Hi @john9527! I have updated to 23B8 and found out I had the same issue as in prior betas that was not happening in 22E4: whenever I start the OpenVPN client, the current wan line gets disconnected until I restart the firewall. I have disabled all my custom ovpn config but still the issue...

[Release] AB-Solution 3 - The Ad Blocking Solution

Hi @thelonelycoder! I can't thank you enough for this tool! That being said, I've found something odd in the stats: I have a client that requests a static IP that is also reserved in the router for another client (no harm done, its actually 2 interfaces of the same client, and they are never...
