    AB-Solution 2.0 is out! (v2.0.1)

Might be maybe not the right forum thread, and if so accept my applogies: Since installing AdBlock this way I seem to get into problems with one site in Sweden: www.expressen.se When I look a bit closer I find something very small in the top left corner - is this a anti-ad-blocker or...

    White list countries?

So I know there is a blacklist script for blocking countries. I would need the reverse function: I just need to white list what I know I need - is there such a way - or is blacklist the only option?

When is asus fixing battery problems on android devices?

Hmm I have a Sony Z3 back home, been connected to Wifi all the time (and mobile provider, yes SIM is inserted and it is active ALL the time), and it's been up for 7 days and is at 50% - something tells me it is not the router - it's something else wrong....

Is it possible to allow access to specific mac-addresses only ?

Are you thinking of restrict wireless clients to connect to your router, or are you planing to only allow connection from the router out to WWW-mac addresses? The first is supported in the WLAN section of the router "Wireless MAC filter" The second: why do this? sounds a lot like something...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.59 is now available

Can confirm that what was a slow GUI yesterday is now a 100% normal speed GUI - RMerlin mentioned this in a post on page 3, and he is - of course and as usual - 100% correct. Something needs to be done in the background and after a while everything goes as it should. 100% happy :-) Now let's...

    Memory leak in Asuswrt-Merlin

Well I use Tasker for connecting over OpenVPN when WiFi drops out, so I guess it would be rather easy to adapt that to something more performance hungry?

    Memory leak in Asuswrt-Merlin

Mmm that is indeed a good question ;-) Mainly I am trying to replicate what I did the two times before I had this problem - but guess what, I can't replicate the issue. Although my script has only ran for 45h now (and will run until reboot) there is NO evidence what so ever for any memory leak...

    Memory leak in Asuswrt-Merlin

I still have no clu of why this is happening in 380.58 - there is no apparent memory leak at all. Yes I do see some memory numbers going up - but nothing that big to be even a concern for the moment, and I have been trashing my OpenVPN Server 1 during 24h. I'll keep testing a bit more, and if I...

    Memory leak in Asuswrt-Merlin

I can only say that I have something that might be in the same area. Like OP I have a router that only works as router, no WEB server or anything is exposed against internet - the ONLY thing i have is a OpenVPN server 1, when enabled my router will at some point hang 100%. Now I have only had...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.58 is now available

No, I don't seem to have any memory issue due to VPN, not from the tests I have done so far. Well starting a Open VPN server consumes some memory yes, but so far I can not say with any confidence this is related to this memory leak.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.58 is now available

Well I can say this, and thanks for the link to your other thread where I could confirm the problem on my router with your "script", just turning ON the OpenVPN server 1 makes the number change, turning it OFF again makes no difference however turning it ON again well the number still goes up...

/sbin/preinit Memory Leak in 380 series FW

FWIW: I can confirm this on my AC88 with 380.58 with your script @kvic I seem to have stumble on the memory leak thru heavy use of OpenVPN server 1. I'll try to test that somewhat more tomorrow, and see if what is suggested is this memory leak... I'll be back :-)

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.58 is now available

I have a problem with my AC88 with 380.58 firmware: So far my router has hang twice in 49h, and when this occurs it is so bad that I have NO access and NO internet. Well I have nothing (so if this happens, no one can do nothing - well I guess if everything is to go wrong that is a good thing)...

    Port Knocking for VPN?

Under OpenVPN server, Advanced settings, there is a Firewall parameter. Normally this is "Auto" - however anyone know how "External" and "Custom" works? My idea is to get a port knocking set up with IPTABLES, like this one...

    list of IPs?

This is a bit strange I would say: When I look on the result after pushing the key "View List" (front gui web page), I get 5 wireless devices. When I look under the Wireless Log page/tab, I will get 7 wireless devices. If I enter "wl -i eth1 assoclist" and "wl -i eth2 assoclist" I list all...

    list of IPs?

Btw the DROP is because I only allow port 80/443/+ a few more to forward to internet. Port 9000, as in the row above, belongs to SqueezeServer - and I do not want that broadcast out on the internet...

    list of IPs?

"The syslog panel" = the "systemlogg selection on the WEB GUI interface, between "Administration" and "Networktools" (Well I have swedish words, so this is my guess what it is translated to in english). The row reads: May 4 21:19:38 kernel: DROP IN=br0 OUT=eth0 SRC=x.x.x.151 DST=46.137.90.12...
