uiDivStats uiDivstats 4.0.5 - WebUI Stats for Diversion, December 15, 2024

I did some more digging into the script. The logger command in the Print_Output() function doesn't use the third parameter that specifies the log level. The logger command must default the log level to "warning", though I couldn't find any documentation that corroborates that assumption. I...

Here's a screenshot of the router log after turning off the remote log server at 07:56:14. The stats update messages still appear.

uiDivStats uiDivstats 4.0.5 - WebUI Stats for Diversion, December 15, 2024

When I said "tag" I was referring to the log level, i.e. the third parameter in the "Print_Output()" function that is used in the script. Here's a screen shot of the router's system log: Here's a screenshot of the log captured on a remote log server: Note that the log entries are at a...

    Question about network map

Does anyone know what this popup message means? I don't remember ever seeing it before. The device in question is a TP-Link Kasa outdoor camera.

    [ 3004.388.7 alpha 1 Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

This may be totally unrelated, but I had a somewhat similar problem with a non-Tasmota ESP8285 device. I found a number of discussions on the web about problems with the ESP device refusing a DHCP offer from the Asus router, which seems to be what is happening in your syslog file. The fix was...

    Release [Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374 LTS release 52E7

I have used an N66 in media bridge mode for a long time. It's running the latest John's Fork development release (3.0.0.4.374.43_53D7j9527). One thing to keep in mind is that this version, and several earlier ones including stock Asuswrt, have some issues with the wireless connection to the...

Unable to change client names under network map

You can also change the name on the same tab on the right side "Client status". Click on an entry and a new dialog pops up. If the right side shows "System status", clock on the blue circle above "Clients: 38" to switch to "Client status".

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 is now available for all supported Wifi 6 models

I just updated my AX86U router to 388.1. At the same time, I changed my second AX86U from an AP to a mesh node running stock Asus 388_21709. The two devices are connected via cable on the 2.5G ports. My question is about the guest networks. Guest network #1 has an option to use just the...

    386.5 Alpha1?

Did a dirty upgrade of an RT-AX86U access point to alpha2. The logging problem identified in the post below is fixed. And the Google Drive problem I experienced with alpha1 is no longer present. https://www.snbforums.com/threads/syslog-client-needs-a-push.75644/

    386.5 Alpha1?

I did a dirty upgrade of the second RT-AX86U alpha to an access point. It mostly worked. But Google Drive on an Android phone connected to the access point consistently failed to upload changed files. I reverted to 386.4 and upload started working again.

    386.5 Alpha1?

I think yours has a different title, it's called "Driver version". It references wl0 which is one of the wireless connections. I don't know why wl1 isn't listed also.

    386.5 Alpha1?

Are you sure there is a new wireless driver? I just looked at my router running 386.4 and it shows: The timestamps are different, but the version numbers are the same. Could just be a recompile of the same code as before. I've been hoping for a new wireless driver to fix the 2.4 connection...

    ScMerlin Dynamic Submenus

    Thanks for the quick response.

    ScMerlin Dynamic Submenus

With an AX86U in router mode, the dynamic submenus work fine. They appear when the mouse hovers over an item in the left menu tree. But with an AX86U in access point mode, the submenus don't appear. What does appear is a tooltip like box with a file name, such as Tools_Sysinfo.asp. Should...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 beta is now available

The problem identified in this post also seems to exist in this beta: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/syslog-client-needs-a-push.75644/ Remote logging doesn't work even after a reboot. The "Apply" button on the System Log -> General Log page needs to be pressed after which remote logging...
