    These lines are different from what the /etc/init.d/openvpn script creates in my firmware. It is especially wrong to use tun21 instead of tun0, because it is implied that tun0 is what will be created and there are certain rules for it in the firmware programs and scripts, but not for tun21...

    You have no response from the OpenVPN server, i.e. your R9000, during the handshake attempt. My log looks the same if: (1) OpenVPN server is not enabled at all or (2) OpenVPN server and OpenVPN client (on the smartphone) have different ports like 1194 on the server and 12973 on the smartphone...

    Your config is similar to mine with differences: I use port 12973 (default) and verb level 5 (default). You are using port 1194, which is known as the port for OpenVPN and is widely used around the world. It is probably blocked somewhere on purpose on the path from the client to the server...

    I can't tell you exactly and check as I don't have any RBS10 devices. You can check it yourself if you want by installing the stock firmware on the RBR50. All I know is that RBS50 can be freely connected to LBR20. Voxel.
