    Neighbor Solicitation

I remember a while ago the option was created for comcast customers experiencing solicitations from neighbors, is this the case for all non comcast IPv6 connections?

I have verizon FIOS and all streaming apps/clients works as it should., actually(maybe placebo) Netflix, youtube and HBO max streams much better using IPv6. Your service is served wirelessly through 5GHz that's why maybe it needs some tweaks. This is my last post on this, we are getting off...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 Beta is available for select models

Your service is verizon 5GHz mobile home which is provided with an appropriate mobile router. You are now using an asus router behind the provided verizon mobile router, I'm pretty sure aside from using different DOT servers the double router creates your problem. I can not even suggest a...

    IPv6 question

This seems to happen when an iDevice or even windows that sleeps in and out of their wireless connections. It appears in ipv6 acquiring addresses is not a problem but it doesn't retain the same IP whenever you come in and out specially if it's rapidly in succession. Good thing the leases are...

    IPv6 question

I've seen that many ip addresses with an ipad here, it happens when the client is set in private wifi address and the connection is unstable(in/out) usually the battery is running low. However, it clears the addresses after 12 hrs., they have very short leases so it seems it's not a bug.

    IPv6 question

Whoever put ipv6 together must have think of the safety of the protocol so I'm sure it is secure so long as you don't open ports without knowing the consequences. It will take time for me to learn enough to be dangerous but I'm willing to educate myself. I want to deal with the why and not...

    IPv6 question

I don't want to turn it off because I want to learn ipv6. I have it turned on for a month and looks to me it's safe and little by little learning from it, there's nothing wrong with it I think.;)

    IPv6 question

Let me rephrase my question. The site I posted do test for icmp6 request, why then would they do that if it will not work? They do not know what they're doing?

    IPv6 question

So why do sites like this even include icmp6 test if only local neighbors will see the requests? IPv6 test - IPv6/4 connectivity and speed test (ipv6-test.com)

    IPv6 question

I can get ipv6 assigned prefixes which according to you icmp6 is required. There are icmp6 test sites that are not reliable then, it shows mine is not responding to icmp6 requests.

    IPv6 question

Is IPV6 icmp echo enabled by default in RtAX88U? I don't see any option in the WEBUI to enable/disable it but for IPV4 only.

    [Dev] Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 development

The router's speedtest let you choose the closest test servers manually and they work fine if the router is not in dual stack(IPv4 only). However, when IPv6 is enabled with IPv4 the speedtest is slower by 200Mbps. This is an apple to apple test that's why I tested the speed in some other way...

    [Dev] Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 development

The router's(AX88U) speed test is slower by 200/100 Mbps when IPV6 is enabled but when tested through windows 11 ethernet it tested just fine. It tells me the router's speed test is broken.
