    Just to be sure, that post doesn't describe resetting the network stack; it mentions disabling the BT wireless and NIC driver changes.

    Sounds like you might be talking about the same issue I had. Check out this post. I suspect it was the BT NIC, but didn't take the time to narrow down the offender.

    Referring to https://www.att.com/support/article/u-verse-high-speed-internet/KM1002300, "How multi static IP addresses work". I need help interpreting this. How does this Dynamic WAN address work yet I still get static addresses?

    AT&T fiber with home phone service?

    The RG and ONT are all in one unit now, so the tech said, with a fiber splice at the outside wall. I think I'd get a BGW320, which has a "Phone" RJ11 jack on it. Maybe I can plug that into the 3-port wall plate like my DSL modem does now to supply phone service to the house.

    You mean you had a choice to keep the POTS? An ATT tech and my neighbor who is getting it installed said that the POTS is no longer used when the fiber is connected - all VOIP.

    To prevent wireless connection to the router, just don't apply SSID credentials to the device. Can't you toggle off the device's random MAC function? For connected devices, did you try this?

    In case it helps: Port 12080 is used by WebShield, Dwyco Video Conferencing, NetworkServer, Delta Three PC to Phone. Trojan Troj/Agent-E, Win32.Disprox.A also use this port.
