BE30000 (AKA BQ16 Pro) not getting full bandwidth

Those EEROs are underrated by the manufacturer, have very rudimentary settings, (almost like TP-Link DECO), yet perform superbly. (We were provided 2 EERO Pro 6 by Frontier when we got their 1 Gig service a couple of years ago). They initially advertised the Max as 4 Gbps speed, and I had to...

    BQ16 Pro Quad Band

Here's the link to the ASUS USA shop listing, if the forum allows, a whopping $700 though... https://shop.asus.com/us/asus-zenwifi-bq16-pro.html

    BQ16 Pro Quad Band

BGW320-500 speed test results (enforced to be used by AT&T) attached. The difference in speed from my prior iPhone X was so significantly slower I could actually feel it when doing basic functions such as loading a web page. (Sometimes things would be missing on the page). The solution was to...

    BQ16 Pro Quad Band

I got on the notification lists of both ASUS USA and B&H Photo Video (New York). At 5:xx am ASUS sent me notification they got the 1-pack back in stock. At around 7 am I saw the email and rushed to order one. Retail/Full price is actually $699.99, but it shipped the same day. That same...

    BQ16 Pro Quad Band

Thank you! Adding the BQ16 Pro as an additional (wired 10 Gig) node in the same room as my WiFi 7 phone resulted in satisfactory speed. Before that speed was poor. (I paid full price to get the single)... Go figure.

GT-AX6000 vs RT-AX88U_PRO Length of support

My bet is GT-AX6000 will be supported (way) longer. Why? It's already on 3.0.0.6 whereas the GT-AXE16000 is still stuck on 3.0.0.4, same with the RT-AX88U...

    BQ16 Pro Quad Band

It's cheaper than Best Buy's 3-pack (unless my math is wrong), but I really only want to live with one... Just received it this afternoon, trying to figure out where to place it...

    BQ16 Pro Quad Band

That's a huge savings from what I paid yesterday morning to buy one from ASUS directly, BUT the delivery date is in October while mine is on it's way from Newark, CA to me the same day...

    GT-BE98 Pro & 3 BE30000 - AiMesh Wireless Backhaul Dropping Packets Every 15 Minutes

Oops, I should clarify something. WiFi 7 requires AES + GCMP 256. What WiFi 7 enables that I didn't realize is 320 MHz bandwidth. Without it you're limited to 160 MHz on the 6 GHz bands. So that means be careful what you set the WPA setting, because I don't know how to check whether you...

    GT-BE98 Pro & 3 BE30000 - AiMesh Wireless Backhaul Dropping Packets Every 15 Minutes

I know of one person running two GT-BE98 Pros with wireless backhaul and is happy with the performance. He's on the ROG forums... As background my BE98 Pro is an old HW version, I don't even want to look, but I'm sure highest it could be is Ver 1.0... I notice you tried the latest firmware...

Looking For- BQ16 Pro One Piece/Split Package So Cal

Thank you everyone who popped in and read this "looking for post". And thank you for nobody trying to scam me as well. Last September I was victim of a terrible scam of someone pretending to offer me a job... ASUS USA got 1 piece package back in stock this morning, and I was able to order one...

ASUS RT-BE96U and the dreaded dual WAN feature

So do you have a second ISP or are you using cellular as backup? There are two modes: Dual WAN with load balancing or fail over with fallback. It's been a while since I've run my BE98 Pro as router but fail over with fallback should allow AiProtection to work?

    GT-BE98 Pro & 3 BE30000 - AiMesh Wireless Backhaul Dropping Packets Every 15 Minutes

Have you considered trying the ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro as router and BE98 Pro as node?

wifi 7 10gig nic router question

They are compatible. Yes you should get your full rated speed. 10 Gbps ethernet (copper) is downward compatible to 5 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, and 1 Gbps. Since you have a 2.5 Gbps port on your PC there's definitely enough bandwidth for your 2 Gig service. Don't turn on QoS and barring any defect/bugs...

wifi 7 10gig nic router question

That 10 Gig/1 Gig concern is something that I've seen on SFP+ ports. Be sure to read the specs carefully on routers with those, as well as NICs...

    European WiFi 7 Devices

To be fair I guess if you could find someone (you trust) to ship/mail you one, then you could simply turn off/disable 6 GHz-2, until regulatory release for use. That said I wonder if it would get stopped somewhere along the way...
