    I think that you are really reading way too much into this. I have always kept it pretty simple with a flash (all units with same firmware version), followed by a WPS rest, settings router up including connecting mesh node and that is that. Never had any issues.

    What I find quite baffling is why DNS director will try and interfere with the RPI's traffic if the GLOBAL mode is set to "no redirection". The logic here sounds quite confusing to say the least.

    Thanks Colin. So just to confirm that both of these options would result in all DNS queries going via the service specified in the "WAN-DNS - nextdns in my case" settings if nothing is defined on LAN-DHCP side of things (i.e. will result in the same outcome)?

    The latest beta version of this firmware appears to have completely fixed by Plex Remote Access Problem. I would love it is @RMerlin could comment on whether anything to do with UPnP, portforwarding, VPN director... etc. could have changed in between the various beta versions. Is yours working...
