    Ya me too I think Asus left debugging on for this release. Even though I was not having any issues with this release, since the firmware was pulled I reverted back to 46061.

    Did you download the firmware then update manually or update through the update page of the router? At first I updated through the router and version did not change so then downloaded the firmware file and updated manually then version did change.

    I have RT-AX86U that was purchased the day the router was released so I have one of the earliest versions. Updated manually without issue.

    Is the 2.5GbE LAN/WAN port a security risk?

    You can set the primary WAN to the 2.5 on the Dual WAN page. That way it stays set as primary WAN even if you reboot.

    Just get a copy of Winscp (portable version is available if do not want to install) and copy the files then later you can restore them. To use Winscp you enable SSH on the router and set Winscp to file protocol SCP. All the files you need are in jffs/nvram except the hosts file which is in etc...

    If using the 2.5 port for WAN you can set it in dual wan page. During setup from a full reset it also gives you this option.

    Do you need to change WAN type to PPPoE and/or change things in LAN > IPTV? You said you were reloading a saved config file so when you reset you would lose those setting and would need to re-enter them. May want to check those values on the firmware that works.

    Might be working as it should since traditional QoS disables hardware acceleration. I think adaptive QoS does not.

    Default setting for Enable WMM No-Acknowledgement on stock firmware is disabled so not sure how it was enabled.
