    My unit suddenly stopped working tonight forcing me to reboot to regain functionality. This is not the first time this has happened so I'm getting concerned and should probably search for a replacement before it completely tanks.

    I have the same issue and its the cable being used. I moved the tv onto wireless to get more bandwidth and might think about replacing the cable if any buffering occurs.

    Just a follow up since installing this firmware. I haven't experienced any problems as of yet and the router has not locked up like it did with the previous firmware. I still have it set to reboot twice a week after that incident. I'm hoping that wifi 7 units show up en masse soon so buyers...

    4 months without a firmware update kind of makes me feel like this unit is EOL.

    Amazing how there are no firmware updates to this router since February and now the signature hasn't been updated in a month.

    It took 48 hours, but the mystery of the mass Asus router outage is solved

    My ax88u didn't experience an outage, however, I'm not at all happy with how Asus is treating us, the customers, over their snafus. When I upgrade to wifi 7 I will probably look elsewhere for my router.

    Ask them to make one that looks like a sconce so the ladies can set their collectibles on it allowing it to blend in with the decor. Personally I'd like a unit that has a base and detached antennas that I can wall mount away from everything or maybe turn my house wiring into the antenna array.

    S23U firmware was updated this morning and no change to the connection speed behavior. I've got my eye open for the BE routers to replace this unit.

    Well guys I put my phone on another wifi network this morning and it pulled almost 900 Mbps over that one and I tried it again on my own and got 474 Mbps which is right so something fishy is going on here.

    I'm beginning to think that its a bug in the S23U and I've read in the Samsung forums their March firmware update introduced it so hopefully they will fix it soon and I can stop watching the connection speeds on the router.

    So I killed the power to the router and let it sit a minute then rebooted and my wireless connection speed immediately doubled. I then altered the reboot schedule to include a day in the middle of the week. If that doesn't work then I might have to do a daily reboot and if that's the case its...

    I read up on those two routers but they are months away. I noticed yesterday on my router that once you pass 3 ax clients that it gives them all the same reduced bandwidth.

    AX88U throttling speed from modem

    I also have this router and it is throttling my wifi speeds. I can speedtest a wired client and then a wireless client and it drops the speeds on the wireless client often times 100Mbps less. I am going to replace this router in the near future.

    Has anyone else noticed wifi throttling on this firmware? If I run speedtest on my phone its connection speed immediately drops and once completed the speed goes back up. I saw a test of the rapture axe16000 and it was doing the same thing to its wireless clients. I'm going to do a bit more...

    Thanks for the info. Whatever I get must have 6E w/dual wan. The dual wan on my ax88u has worked apart from the time the flash didn't take right which disabled it until I reflashed it.

    I'll probably ante up for the axe16000 and be done with it. I've looked at some other brands but they don't offer dual wan which I need for work.

    I never run combined networks so I can exclude the lower bands from my devices. I tried switching to wpa3 and it seems to be helping a little bit. I'm still waiting for the asus axe11000 to come back in stock and I will buy one to replace this router.
