    USB drive unmounts every few months, I/O error, part table locked

    Haven't encountered these issues again since switching a year ago to a Samsung Pro Endurance Mirco SD Card 32G + USB 3.0 5Gbps Mirco SD Card Reader. A SSD just for your router seems like a waste of a SSD (unless it's old or has too little storage).

    Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 beta is now available

    Updated RT-AC86U from Beta1 to Beta2, all looks good. Thanks! I've had "Disable 11b" checkbox enabled since Alpha with Auto wireless mode, no issues. So my AC devices show connected as AC in wireless log on 2.4 band, which may or may not be better than using N only wireless mode. I haven't...

    FlexQoS Asus Merlin and Flexqos

    One thing I used to do when I ran FlexQoS was make all the download and upload maximums be only 80%. I figured no one connection could monopolize the entire network if everything is only given 80% max. (Feel free to tell me I'm wrong for doing this lol) Honestly, I regret not trying and...

    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.1.1

    For simple effective Cake settings I recommend: Download - Priority: besteffort, Flow: dual-dsthost, NAT: Yes, Wash: Yes, Filter: No Upload - Priority: besteffort, Flow: dual-srchost, NAT: Yes, Wash: No, Filter: No (Yes only if your DL:UL is asymmetrical, like 10:1 etc) On the QoS page under...

    Skynet New Release 7.2.6 migrates to 7.2.7 to 7.2.8 to ((7.3.0 Repealed))

    I'm trying to show support to the developer of an addon that many people here still use and appreciate! @Tech9 Stop being a troll. If you read my post, I never mentioned a thing about my inbound blocks, only my outbound (under the pic).

    Skynet New Release 7.2.6 migrates to 7.2.7 to 7.2.8 to ((7.3.0 Repealed))

    I for one am very thankful to have and use Skynet! Hopefully it will continue to be usable in all future Merlin releases. (All my outbound blocks are from random Torrent upload connections. I've also gladly withdrawn from TrendMicro approvals.)

    amtm merlin 386.3_2/amtm 3.1.7 :: segmentation faults

    I stopped using USB thumb drives and swapped to this instead: Samsung Pro Endurance MicroSD 32GB - Designed for surveillance cameras, rated for 17,520 hours of video. + UGreen SD Card Reader 5Gbps Aluminum - Slots face downward on AC/AX-86U & AC/AX-68U. :)

    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.1.1

    Usually the way to fix issues when using Cake is to just reduce your Download and Upload value. I know people don't like giving up the bandwidth they're paying for, but Cake must be the bottleneck/limiter! Cake with too high of Down Up values will be attempting to share and split bandwidth your...

    CakeQOS WAN packet overhead

    If you believe those to be the correct values for your connection. Everyone's setup can be different. In amtm you can check your Cake status and dropped packets with: "cake_qos status download" and "cake_qos status upload", (you can see dropped packets in the added Cake GUI script page too). I...

    CakeQOS WAN packet overhead

    Hi iManuB, I'm also using CakeQoS and am connected to a Fibre VDSL2 modem, it's using WAN Connection Type of PPPoE. Your WAN Connection Type should be shown first thing when you click WAN tab. Since I have PPPoE VDSL2 connection, I use "WAN packet overhead: 30, MPU: 0, Mode: Normal", (if you...
