    thanks for reply. I wasn't sure if that was left over from last Merlin firmware I used🙂 one more thing I noticed is system log is showing start date from 5th of May everytime I reset the router. is that normal?

    thanks for reply . I use to get around 5ms ping consistent on same phone with my old RT AC68U. the laptop However is only about a year Old its Dell Inspiron 13 7000. I am really not sure what sort of WiFi card its got. my son plays lot of Roblox and YouTube and also use it for studies.

    I am Dealing with exact same issue. only using WiFi onMobile though. using ROG Phone 5S. My son's laptop sitting far away gets around 4ms where as I get around 8ms. and that's using same server too.

    thanks for the heads up. I will look into it. also I have changed to Australian region and getting 2 extra new channels of WiFi on 2.4GHz band

    Just got my router today and upgraded to latest firmware...had disconnection after that but Working perfect so far after reboot. Just trying to make sense of region setting in wifi-- professional settings. By default it's set to Asia. But I live in Australia. Should I change it ?
