Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

I have a different issue with Guest network than some have since 388.5 in another thread. Because for me internet works always. On Guest 1 all is fine, intranet disabled (device with different IP), can not ping or see anything on local network.. But on Guest 2 (device with router IP) its weird...

[3004.388.5] No internet access for WIFI networks after some time

I have a different issue. Because internet works always. On Guest 1 all is fine, intranet disabled (device with different IP), can not ping or see anything on local network.. But on Guest 2 (device with router IP) its weird, if intranet enabled, I can ping and all; but if intranet disabled...

Testing Cat6 in the new home network

No idea, I do it myself, and prices are cheap in Serbia for it so hardly a comparison... Mostly same as the device does, connectivity, signal strength (in voltage, frequency, RFI...). Nothing that special.

Testing Cat6 in the new home network

For home use as Ripshod said, more than This or This is futile. And like said CaptainSTX then just hire someone to do it for you is far les expensive..

Testing Cat6 in the new home network

A simple cable tester, they come as cheap as 10€ (testing just connectivity) or more € but with more options...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

Tried with different channels/wide I presume and measured interference on used one?

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

Then maybe it is an AX86s specific issue. One more thing, is it WPA 2 or 3, I have some clients not liking it with WPA3...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

And Sleep on WoWLAN Disconnect that one is relevant..? I know wake on lan/magic packet, is irrelevant here; but for me it acted sometimes strange (when out of hibernate).

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

Sleep on WoWLAN Disconnect and wake on xxx (remembrer acting weird in the past for me, so disabled it)?

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

Have you tested with the latest Intel drivers, they made important changes in them lately in the 23. series (latest official 23.20.0, I use 23.20.1.1)..?

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

I have AX210 on my LapTop, and all works fine for me. Have you set all the green, sleep etc. settings adequately in the driver Advanced tab section? And have you tried to Forget the network, and then reconnect (can be needed at big driver changes).

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

I only see here a potential problem with 160MHz (Auto channel?) not sticking and dropping? If issue only on WiFI... All later FW will have same or newer GPL, with all the new changes ASUS made. So do not hope for that.

"Format JFFS partition at next boot" not an option on RT-AX88U Pro

No. The partition is permanent, and not going anywhere at reboot, its not NVRAM...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

For me it also works with an AX client on both reports. Guess it is device centric..?

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

In plus of the fact they (ASUS) finally got it right; that after importing this new Certificate (in Authorities) into Mozilla (Waterfox for me), there is no need anymore to add as Exception (in Servers): I also like the new look of the Network Map - Status page stating each port designed speed:

The Wireless 5GHz channel has dropped from 160Hz to 80Hz

Again look at the diagram, DFS channels are not all Radar labeled! ;) That is, its not the same radar systems (military radar, satellite communication, and weather radar...).
  17. MDM

The Wireless 5GHz channel has dropped from 160Hz to 80Hz

That is DFS too (for 100MHZ of it); did you even look at the diagram..? The Control channel in itself does not matter if it is in DFS or not, only the entire 160MHz range does!
  18. MDM

The Wireless 5GHz channel has dropped from 160Hz to 80Hz

On 5GHz no you can not.. Only on 6GHz you can.

From Beta to Final, fast and problem free.

The Wireless 5GHz channel has dropped from 160Hz to 80Hz

It seam logical to monitor all the Channel's Utilization (and interference), and decide upon that factor...
