    I don't know what's going on, but after I update my RT-AC87U, my firmware remains at 384.5 instead of going to 384.7. Tried it twice and it's still stuck with old version. Update check also keeps showing like there is new version. What gives?

    I'm using Merlin 384.4 Beta3 and I keep getting access reports from AiProtection Two Way IPS from same IP's. How can I set router to just straight block ANY connections to me from those IP's? Where can I do that in router settings? Thx

    I'm assuming the fix for RT-AC87U Qantenna watchdog is included in these to prevent random wireless dropping that we experienced in older versions?

    Thanks. I like it how it doesn't stick between reboots, so if it hangs, you don't have it stuck in that loop, but you just reset it and it's fixed. Till you figure out the actual stable clock.

    How are you overclocking it? I used to do it with DD-WRT, but their builds are terrible and I once almost lost my AC87U because of it.

    382 Fork for RT-AC87U

    Nice to see RT-AC87U getting newest builds now :) The new IDS in latest official firmware is really nice, but the watchdog is too trippy for Qantenna so I'm forced to use Merlin's 380.69_2 which has this fixed.

    Is it possible that having 5GHz radio disabled affects the stability? I have no purpose for 5GHz since it has garbage range so I keep it disabled.
