    No, I don't have anything connected through USB. Besides you remind me to disable USB. Still haven't found where this option is hidden in the UI.

    Hi guys, There is almost no traffic but i never seen as much CPU since I have the router (the two CPU were always very low, +- 2/3% usage) so what is going on ? Note I activated Ai Protected from 3 days but that seemed to change nothing for the CPU, at least in the beginning.

    Indeed, I activated Ai Protection today in the afternoon. Thanks for the clarification. Don't know if I will do the update as I'm not in an AiMesh mode so I don't think the update is really interesting for me.

    When I clicked on the Check button this morning the new firmware was detected and an "update" button was available. I did not yet update and now I have a new row with "Signature version". What's this ?

    "Asus Router" Android application / security

    That's also my feeling. I probably haven't done the full tour of the app, but I don't think I really need it. I will only miss the traffic visualization interface for each device which is missing from the web UI.

    Wiring the house

    Hi, My recommandation is also CAT6A, SSTP if possible as it is not necessary more expensive. I did this 15 years ago and I don't regret it. You can ask your electrician to wire the house but for jacks better do it yourself or ask for a specialist to do that job.

    Thanks for the feedback. I think I noticed that my WebCam only appears (whatever it is wired/wireless connected) when there is some traffic.

    The guest mode was for me a "must have" when buying this router, as well as being able to define time slots. I have an "always on" guest mode which is used by more devices than the main WiFi network. I did not know AiMesh did not support guest network on nodes, thanks for pointing that out ...

    Hello, Why does sometimes my devices with static ip appears in the list and sometimes not ? (webcam ie) (the range for static ips is outside the DHCP range and I don't use DHCP reservation) My Brother printer did never even show at all ! Any idea ?

    Maybe a bug, who knows ? The node ? You mean you are using more than one router in AiMesh mode ? In this case, sorry, I can't help you, I only have one router and thus I don't use AiMesh.

    I guess you set AP isolation in your main WIFI network. I did not try this feature but all is working fine with the Guest network which is always on. I'm using firmware 384.82072.
