    I can't speak for your particular flavor of ASUS, but I've got tagged vlans including multi-tagged trunk ports running on my dual gt-ax6000s for sandboxing my IoT crap, and multiple ASUS routers do support vlans as they are used to extend the first guest wifi to AiMesh nodes.     Yes, I have learned that about ASUS's version of 'mesh' - that it is no more than a way to manage multiple routers and APs by managing just one. Other systems I've used like Eero defne 'mesh' as much more aggressive AFA active handoff between nodes included.

    Yep, got the 5 port TrendNet. Locked up twice the first 48 hours. But now that I'm keeping that switch, the gt-ax6000s and anything else that gets above 120ºf on top a nice cool air filter they haven't crashed since.
