    Static Routes appear broken on 86U using 384.4_2

    I tried your suggestion a while back, to allow access to the entire .2.x subnet but just for completeness I just tried it again. No go. Static routes on the 86U appear non-functional. FYI, the static route on the 68U was to allow access to one specific device on the .1 subnet and it works fine.

    I've been struggling trying to setup a simple static route on the 86U running 384.4_2. What is bizarre is that static routing IS working on an older 68U. Merlin, is this part of the software the same for the two routers? I assume this is closed source?? Example configuration: 86U (192.168.1.1)...

    Time zone is correct. See attached. I am in Central time zone. I also unplugged WAN cable until status page shows internet is lost, then plugged in WAN cable.     Cisco Anyconnect VPN Stability on RT-AC68U

    Try turning off (disable) airtime fairness under the wireless professional tab. Some connections really don't like this setting.

    When you select access point mode your wireless router becomes a radio. If you use your same existing SSIDs on the Netgear, then you will have to change them on the 68U in access point mode. You should select different channels than the Netgear as well IF there is significant signal overlap...

    I know of 4 RT-N66U routers that have "compatibility"/inconsistent/slow/frequently dropping 5GHz WiFi...doesn't happen with all devices but with many. Not sure about the AC66U. My 68U runs 5GHz perfectly.
