    Release [Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374 LTS release 45EC

The GUI update should work. I would reboot the router, clear your browser cache and try again. Also you should post your router model and perhaps what browser you are using to further help with troubleshooting.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I understand there is no "scheduled release policy". Thats why I stated I was just curious about the status. If you have something helpful to say, say it. If not, keep your snide comments to yourself please :)

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

So whats the status of build 45? Is it not going to be released (staying a dev only release)? Is the fork now being discontinued from further development? Just curious. Thanks

Sorry missed this reply. Only other thing I can think of is maybe change to another channel that is clearer based on your surroundings. Also if others are are your network (kids esp) make sure they are not running some sort of file sharing service or something sucking up your bandwidth. :) I...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I had a similar issue way back when on an AC66 and nothing seemed to change it. I ended up using the command line nvram clear method to factory reset and that solved it for me. No idea why because the GUI reset should do the same thing but it did not help in my case. May want to try that and...

41E8 also fixes the new Edge layoutNG issue too (of course since its also Chromium but just sayin. :) ) BTW the new Edge is actually pretty nice browser now.

Its a different folder (Development) on his OneDrive acct. John himself posted it some time back. The one on post 1 is the release area/folder. Also look at the space, 7.29 used of 40 gb on both. (not proof but........) :)

Take a look at this page. Then take a look at this changelog . Scroll down to 374.43 and see everything up to that version from the bottom of the changelog. Then add new security updates up to current builds that have been backported to this build. As I said, this is Merlins firmware just an...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

See the first post in this thread for that info. It is based on Merlin firmware (version 374.43) so same features as that but kept up to date with current versions with security updates and other certain items.

Merlin dropped support for the older MIPS models a while back (380.xx) So that's not really an option now.

Ha thanks for that valuable input. I wasn't aware I had that much freedom. Much appreciated!

So is it time to go back to ASUS standard firmware for AC66's? Seems John may not be coming back and no one is picking up development on the fork. Wondering if the June update from ASUS may be worth installing?

If you select "Server only" in the DNSSEC validation method instead of strict, it will report correctly on the CF website with DNSSEC enabled.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I saw that and thats why I wondered if v38 was maybe causing it even though I never enabled DFS. Also it finally got to where even 2.4g wasn't working quite right either. Turns out it I downgraded to v37 and the issue remained. So I decided to update the router back to v38 and restore the...

Thanks guys, I have been on channel 36 for a while and it was working. I have used some of the upper channels too in the past with no issues (typically on Merlins branch up to 380.70.) Its been working fine until the update. Anyway I will research a bit further. Thanks for the input.

Anyone have any issues with Amazon FireStick not working on 5G after version 38E3. Seems after the update on my AC66 I cannot watch trailers and most movies (just spins and wont load). I can switch the stick to 2G and it loads right up. Just started after updating to this firmware from version...

Any Way to Tell if Wireless b\g\n is used?

You didn't say what model or firmware level but I believe the ASUS app for smart phones shows each device and its connection type. https://www.asus.com/us/asus-router-app/ I am using Johns fork now so cant use the app and don't remember exactly. But worth a shot. Not sure that will help you with...

Actually see post #1 in the 'installation notes' section. You will use the ASUS restoration tool to go back to this version from a later (above 380) version, then moving forward simply update via the UI. ASUS Firmware Restoration Tool Instructions
