    [ 386.12 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

I haven't seen any particular value yet to the 3006 FW. The only advantage I've found with the 3006 FW is the ability to set up an isolated guest network on an AP without having to use a script. However, ASUS took a significant step backward in OVPN functionality with the 3006 FW. I can't...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 is now available

Seemed like a reasonable point to make when the OP had not specifically stated that 3.0 was enabled.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 is now available

That USB port is 3.0, but it can be set to operate at 2.0 speeds.

3 RT-AC68U's: AP Mode or AiMesh?

The underlying Linux OS already handles RAM appropriately. Its not uncommon for the RAM allocation to be near the max available space. The OS will clear space as needed.

Asus GT-AX11000 (3004.388.4_beta3) OPENVPN Server help needed vith Site to Site

Have you enabled inbound connections on the router acting as the client (I guess that's the Netgear router)? That needs to be enabled. For ASUS routers, there is a radio button in the OVPN client config settings. Not sure what option exists for the Netgear firmware.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 is now available

The log messages indicate that the ethernet connection was unstable. If you are getting the same messages after switching to a different LAN port, then there may be something wrong with the plug on that cable (or on the 2.5 gbps LAN port).

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 is now available

Yes, the messages are due the 2.5 gbps LAN port behavior. Do you have something connected to that port?

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 is now available

Installed on my GT-AX6000 main/AP combo yesterday evening. Everything working smoothly.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 is now available

Your signature says you have a GT-AX6000. eth5 on the GT-AX6000 is the 2.5 gbps LAN port.

    Network Map not refreshing

Unfortunately, networkmap isn't fixed on the latest FWs, even the 3.0.0.6 release branch. So odd that ASUS doesn't fix this.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

Nothing in the release folders at this moment. Merlin is up to something, but may have been pulled.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

Not really the thread to be discussing this. Better if you start your own thread on this topic. But there are some atypical settings in your configuration.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

It is an interesting catch, although it doesn't seem to be anything with Merlin.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

Some suggestions: - Disconnect any USB storage media. - Reboot the router before attempting to upgrade. - Are you installing from a computer connected to the router via wifi or via ethernet? If its the former, grab an ethernet cable and try again.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

I switched my GT-AX6000 main/AP combo from 3.0.0.6.102.21514 to 3004.388.4_beta3 this morning. No factory reset. Except for a bit of minor reconfig to my OVPN client settings, everything works. OVPN definitely working better with 388.4 than with the 3006 firmware. And I like having the NTP...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 beta is now available

I'm having the DDNS restart issue using dyndns as the provider. As suggested by someone earlier, hitting the "Apply" button in DDNS section stops the issue, but looking forward to the next beta.

Listed changes sound great. Could be the "one".

Deleting the asd directory did not resolve the issue.

    [ 386.12 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Kinda puzzling what its only happening on my AC86U AP and not on my AC86U main router. No performance hit, so meh? For kicks, I decided to delete the asd directory on the AP per this thread: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/quickest-bet-fix-for-asus-asd-bug-fix.85190/ The AP has been...

    [ 386.12 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

I suppose I spoke a bit too soon. I'm getting the following error on my AC86U that's in AP mode. Was not getting this with 386.11. The error repeats at intervals anywhere between a few minutes to ~6 hours. The "asd" keyword in the output seems to suggest that this is the now infamous ASUS...
