    Ever since installing 386.12 (the release version) on one of my AC86Us several months ago, asd has been routinely crashing (every hour or less). So I wouldn't say the asd crash is new. Rather, for some reason, its becoming more widespread.

    Didn't work for me. Didn't work for me. Didn't work for me. If you mean 3.0.0.6, I've been there (with a subsequent hard factory reset), and its not fixed there. Happens on Merlin FW. * Interesting to contemplate that it could be an http code issue. Disabled on all my routers.

    I had not heard anything about a full reset being required to stop ASD crashing, but I did read that there was some success with deleting ASD-related files which I have done but didn't make a difference. For now, I will live with it because it seems to be having zero effect on router performance.

    I wouldn't bother spending time on stock FW, especially if the GT-AX6000 came loaded with 3.0.0.6. There's nothing about Merlin FW itself that makes it harder to identify any hardware defects. I'd go straight to Merlin 3.0.0.4.388.4 followed by a full router reset and run a minimal...
