    N66 to 1900P - reuse config?

    Upgrading to a 1900P. Is it advised to use the same saved config, or is this even possible? Risks? Thanks.

    On N66U, the settings for "WAN packet overhead" do not appear to stick after hitting apply. It always resets to "0-None". Not a big deal, but I do use a bridged modem with PPPoE and wanted to try it out.

    After running overnight, client list finally populated on N66U. I do have about 20 devices on DHCP, so maybe it just took awhile. Working fine now.

    Thank you for your work, Merlin. FYI, client list is still empty on N66U. Did a factory reset again with same results. Unable to manually assign DHCP, either. Pulldown menu will not populate. I can see MAC in the Wireless Log.

    Same issue with N66U. Client list is empty. I did a factory reset and restored settings, but it's still empty. No time this morning to manually reconfigure. UPDATE: Did a factory reset and manually reconfigured. Client list is still blank running 380.61_beta2 on N66U.

    Seems to work fine on my N66. UI seemed a bit sluggish at first, but it's snappy again now. Makes me wonder how much longer we can expect support for these little guys. Thanks, Merlin, for keeping the torch alive.

    Just flashed my N66U from 56_2. On the QoS settings page, the radio button for "Automatic" will not stay set after hitting "Apply." Also, the fields for upload and download rates do not appear unless you click on the "Manual" radio button. No other issues so far. I did not do a manual reset.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.54_2 is now available

    Thank you. I was able to test this morning, and it seems to have corrected the reboot issue on my RT-N66U. I was able to successfully restore my 53_0 settings. All is well. Thanks again.

    FYI. I began the process of manually reconfiguring the router. When I got to the QOS part, it went into the reboot loop again when I applied my settings (0.64 Up/12 Down). I was able to duplicate this behavior.

    Attempted upgrade from 53_0 on my RT-N66U. Router went into reboot loop. Was able to get to .54 default settings with WPS+reboot, but I prefer to wait to see if this can be resolved with a patch so I don't have to go through the song & dance of manually reconfiguring. Was able to duplicate this...

    Beam forming settings?

    New N66U B1 running the latest Merlin (43). Can't find the beam forming settings under wireless/professional. Yes, I'm looking at the 5gHz settings. ?
