    RAX120 v2

To those who have a RAX120 v2, does it actually say 'V2' anywhere on the router and/or router settings? I've just had a RAX120 delivered today from the Netgear UK store and was expecting this to be V2 but it simply says 'RAX120' everywhere, there's no mention of V2 anywhere. However I managed to...

    dsl ac68 u any good?

The BT Hub uses a Lantiq DSL chipset, which sometimes plays better if you're connected to an ECI FTTC cabinet. It might be worth trying out the Netgear D7800 which offers the best of both worlds - uses a Lantiq chipset and and has great wifi coverage.

How are you finding the GT-AXE11000 so far?

    dsl ac68 u any good?

I would go for the VR2800, its got excellent wifi range and a solid Broadcom DSL chipset.

    dsl ac68 u any good?

If you want to buy a TP Link router, then I would highly recommend the VR2800 or VR900. Both use Broadcom DSL chipsets.

    dsl ac68 u any good?

OP, the DSL-AC86U is notoriously unstable for use on UK FTTC lines, I would bin it immediately and never use it again. This is all down to the horrible Mediatek DSL chipset it uses, there are far far better routers out there. If you want to stick to Asus, i would highly recommend the DSL-AC88U...

    RT-AX89X Reset?

The annoying fan noise on the AX89X was one of the main reasons i got rid of it, the other being poor wifi performance compared to my Netgear RAX200.

    Netgear RAX200

The RAX200 is higher range, because its Netgear's flagship tri-band wifi 6 router. I have the RAX200 and its the best router I've ever owned for wifi coverage. Sure, the firmware on the RAX200 may not offer advanced features like Asus firmware does, but the wifi performance more than makes up...

    Amplifi Alien?

OP, don't waste your money on the Amplifi Alien - its quite poor. I gave it a try and was very diappointed, its nowhere near as good as my Netgear RAX200 for wifi 6 and is about as good as a mid range wifi 5 router for legacy clients. I'm afraid just because its made by Ubiquiti, looks nice and...

    Ax devices on my AX11000

I don't see why smart connect would improve speeds. I have it switched off on my RAX200. If its any consolation, spending top bucks on the latest & greatest Asus AX router is no guarantee that it will be the best. I also tried the Asus RT-AX89X but found my Netgear RAX200 was better for wifi...

    Ax devices on my AX11000

I have the Netgear RAX200, which is Netgear's version of the AX11000 minus the gaming features. This is what speeds i'm seeing on my 1 Gigabit FTTH line: iPhone 12 Pro (2x2 AX) iPhone X (2x2 AC)

Solved Wifi 6 / ax connection testing

OP, I wouldn't worry too much because clients usually connect on the newest/fastest wifi technology automatically, common to client & router. Bit of a non issue IMHO.

Intel AX200 and AX92U - AX Wifi a lot slower compared to AC?

You definitely can. On my Netgear RAX200, both of the 5Ghz bands have a mixture of AC and AX clients which run simultaneously.

Intel AX200 and AX92U - AX Wifi a lot slower compared to AC?

No, the slow AX throughput will be down to your Asus AX -92U. I also have a laptop with an Intel AX200 card and it hardly ever connects at more than 1.2 Gbps when paired with my Asus RT-AX89X. However the same card connects at 2.4 Gbps to my Netgear RAX200 router (main router) in most parts of...

Slow WIFI with NEW ASUS AX11000 ROG (1mbps)

You mean wifi speeds on other clients (eg phones) are fine when connected to the Asus router, its just your laptop? If so, maybe the issue is with laptop card? I assume you've tried using manual wifi channels to see if it improves things?
