    Asuswrt-Merlin Port 80 DNAT's

@Nodens I agree... My gut tells me it's related to the Asuswrt-Merlin acme.sh standalone implementation, which I've been developing an asus-wrapper-acme.sh script to manipulate to use the --dns method. Perhaps, the Asuswrt-Merlin acme.sh process didn't remove the --standalone method Port 80...

    Asuswrt-Merlin Port 80 DNAT's

@ColinTaylor Please refer to my reply to @eibgrad As always, I appreciate your reply. Respectfully, Gary P.S. Thanks, again, for your assistance troubleshooting nginx Tor loadbalancing. It seems to be working well, but it's taking months to burn in and validate. I'll put together a...

    Asuswrt-Merlin Port 80 DNAT's

@eibgrad Risky or not... If I want to use my router as a Nginx loadbalancer, I'll simply have to make sure nginx is up to date. Thanks, again. Respectfully, Gary

    Asuswrt-Merlin Port 80 DNAT's

@eibgrad Port 80 DNAT not found on your Asuswrt-Merlin Firewall is a good baseline. I had searched for those high-ports in my original post, but didn't provide the output (just stated the the result). Thank you for the reply. Respectfully, Gary

    Asuswrt-Merlin Port 80 DNAT's

All: I've run into an issue where I'm trying to run a web service on the Asuswrt-Merlin br0 Dynamic IP Address, but it appears that there are Port 80 DNAT's that already exist. # iptables -t nat -S | grep 80 -A VSERVER -p tcp -m tcp --dport 80 -j DNAT --to-destination 192.168.0.1:62299 -A...

[SOLUTION] asus-wrapper-acme.sh Adds --dns Support for Let's Encrypt Wildcard SAN Certs to Integrated Asus acme.sh Implementation

All: For those of you whom use the integrated Asus acme.sh implementation with Let's Encrypt, you are familiar with its limitations in only issuing LE Certs with the --standalone method. The following asus-wrapper-acme.sh script manipulates the default Asus acme.sh arguments to extend its use...

No encrypt certificate not working with DDNS service

@Dabombber I think I'm going to take a page out of @Dabombber play-book and create an asus-wrapper-acme.sh script that mount -o bind over the existing Asus acme.sh script, collects the arguments passed to it, and sends an augmented version of the arguments to another copy of the acme.sh script...

No encrypt certificate not working with DDNS service

    The following appear to be the relevant DDNS nvram variables: # nvram show | grep -i ddns ddns_regular_check=0 ddns_refresh_x=21 ddns_hostname_x_old= ddns_wan_unit=-1 ddns_username_x= ddns_last_wan_unit=0 ddns_transfer= ddns_regular_period=60 ddns_enable_x=1 ddns_update_by_wdog=1...

No encrypt certificate not working with DDNS service

@Dabombber I was finally able to circle back around, validate the service restart_letsencrypt command works on my router (384.19), and implement the recommended acme_copy.sh & acmp_log.sh scripts with mount -o bind (which flawlessly provided the arguments Asus uses with its acme.sh...

No encrypt certificate not working with DDNS service

Last I looked, it appeared that most of the scripts in the dnsapi directory were created for very specific platforms. I believe your dns_asus.sh script would fit in nicely with the existing collection... That's if it you're open to it. I like the mount bind approach. I'll see if I can give it a...

No encrypt certificate not working with DDNS service

@Dabombber Thanks for the dns_asus.sh script! Presently, it appears that asuscomm.com isn't working; otherwise, your dns_asus.sh would fit the bill. You should submit your dns_asus.sh script to NealPang, via the acme.sh GitHub page, for inclusion in the dnsapi repository. As for me... I've...

No encrypt certificate not working with DDNS service

@Mr Tvardovsky Perfect! I did notice that I'm missing one last piece... The associated ddns_ and le_ nvram values. Will you log into your router using ssh or putty, again, and provide the output for the following commands: putty 192.168.1.1 # nvram show | grep -iE "^ddns_" # nvram show | grep...

No encrypt certificate not working with DDNS service

@Mr Tvardovsky The System Logs are exactly what I was looking for. The only thing better would be the acme.sh command-line arguments that Asuswrt-Merlin uses for issuing and renewing LE certificates, but that would involve creating a new LE certificate; while, watching ps at the command-line...

No encrypt certificate not working with DDNS service

@Mr Tvardovsky I was able to get a custom DDNS config setup with the ddns-start script updating my tinydns server. However, I'm still stuck with LE Authorizing the initial certificate. Will you provide me with a recursive directory listing of your /jffs/.le directory (showing user/group and...

No encrypt certificate not working with DDNS service

@Mr Tvardovsky I'm glad to hear you were able to sort things out and thanks for the heads-up about having issues with Asus' DDNS Service, also. I believe me and @JohnnyGuitar need to try an alternative DDNS + LE configuration. Respectfully, Gary

No encrypt certificate not working with DDNS service

@Mr Tvardovsky Your logs seem to indicate that it's an issue related to the DDNS portion of the process. Are you able to manually login to your DDNS provider and validate your host entry is updated with your current Public IP Address? At least you have some logs to go on. Respectfully, Gary

No encrypt certificate not working with DDNS service

@JohnnyGuitar I have those log entries as well, but only in the past and not today when enabling DDNS & LE for the first time; thus, I don't believe they are related. It sounds like the System Logs aren't much help to you, either. I think the next step is to confirm whether you can get the...

No encrypt certificate not working with DDNS service

@Mr Tvardovsky Do you see any related errors in the System Logs? I don't even see errors in the logs. I believe I have two separate issues: asuscomm and letsencrypt registration. I should probably work through the former issue prior to the latter. Respectfully, Gary
