    try disabling client isolation and see if that "breaks" oneway and toway functions. i have rebooted the router many times, and the mac which im testing it with has a deleted known networks list and only knows of my guest network. iow it cannot connect to snything else.

    According to the 388.2_alpha-thread flowcache is reenabled with wireguard running, and the speed drop is fixed. :) Just wait patiently for RMerlin to release it when ready.

    What do you think is the reasoning behind never updating the kernel? Seems like it would be beneficial in terms of security, performance and features, no? Disclaimer: I'm just curious, but know none of this.

    What is the reasoning behind using b/g/n in modern products, then? Is it cost savings? Is it more energy efficient than ac/ax/be? does the hardware take up less physicsl space? what is it? :)

    So to my joy Apple re-introduced the big HomePod yesterday. To my despair it now has 802.11n wireless instead of 802.11ac which the previous one had.     Is Broadcom Flow Cache support something that can be added to Wireguard at some point if the Wireguard devs work at it, or is it totally incompatible? Also, now that ISP-speeds are approaching >1gpbs, is the router hardware underpowered or will it be able to keep pace?

    I read the entire 9 pages before asking, but couldn't find it. Maybe I skimmed too fast, that's on me. The search tool on snbforums I've tried in many other threads and settings, and I rarely find anything using it - maybe I'm too spoiled by google and don't know how to use "advanced search"...

    Can someone with better network-smarts than me explain why Wireguard requires NAT-acceleration, and why Asus doesn't have it enabled? Can it be enabled later? Seems weird to offer a throttled Wireguard.
